After seeing the first episode and comparing it to Boys before flowers the Korean version, I have to admit this one is much better. The Korean version looks now as advertisement for the rich - it´s more materialistic, but this one is more focused on the inner side of the main characters and even Tsukushis parents aren´t such annoying overdoing characters. I have this strange itchy feeling this one will be great. Now looks the Korean version rather poor.

And the background music remembers me on Harry Potter..

I checked it but what I can recommend you are romance movies with melo elements like Windstruck, Fly high (not the one with Kim Beom..I haven´t seen it yet), Virgin snow, My love (actually one story there was really heart-tearing, U will know which one), hmm Heartbreak Library.

Kim Seul Gi is my favourite at he moment ..she played in Flowerboy next door the deputy manager and is memeber of the SNL Korea crew (I liked when she was angry ...she was really cute with those tired swollen eyes)
I like Shin Si Yool (played in Reply 1997, Jungle fish 2)
and now Han Ji Hye too (mainactress in I summon you Gold!)
I think IU is cute too but after watching Lee Soon Shin I ve got enough of her ...I will always have her character with its dumb naivity in front of my eyes...argh
