I absolutely love how they prioritised growth of the characters over the romcom aspect. Jingshu's storyline is amazing, we don't see this being done especially to a secondary couple the way her and Dumbell's relationship played out .
I see a lot of comments talking about how boring the show starts out and its sad people weren't able to see how amazing this show was.

What platform are u using to watch the show? I was using viki till ep 18, tried an alt site for ep 19 and that side doesn't have ep 20 for some reason, its a whole mess

I started watching this show coz I lovee Jin Mai and I haven't watched any of her works since ALTCFL, I was just kinda scared to see her in grown up roles after her younger roles in ALTCFL and Growing pains but this drama is a good watch. Her acting and the way the story is paced is very good. I especially like that they spent first 2 or 3 episodes focusing on FL and her story instead of rushing into the main plot. It would've been nice to see ML's backstory in a whole episode as well. I'm still on ep20 and they haven't fully given us the background on ML like flashback or memories, I do feel like they might do it in the future episodes, I just hope he doesn't get hurt again and we get the backstory then.
JIANG RUI is so adorable! I wis to see more works of the actor soon, he is absolutely delightful and I hope the actor gets the fame.
Let's not talk about Zhuang Xu and his stupid brother. I do not like them, the little brother reallly needs to grow a brain.

A business man doesn’t need to force his way into everything, it’s an image created in dramas and novels for a jealous-obsessive-hot ML. I’ve seen dramas where ML is a successful ceo and his actions are respectful too. If we are talking about real life then businessmen know how to negotiate and many women might even throw themselves onto these rich men, they aren’t supposed to be forceful. Su Nian Qin was a calm person, I think if he had been portrayed as witty in business and calm and throughout in his lovelife that’d have been great.

I loved this show! The characters were great so was the story and I am being serious when I tell u this was the best drama of all time for me! Until…. Ep 17, they really ruined it by changing the ML to a domineering ceo ☹️ The minor plot was still good like Cheng Yin’s story, I loved that. I am not satisfied with the development of the leads in the second half of the show. I get it the actor is versatile but u didn’t have to ruin this amazing drama to show me that quality😭 That being said I love Su Nian Qin and Sang Wu Yan in the first half, very memorable.
