Sad But Very Good Storyline Regardless
I finished watching this recently and I was definitely traumatized after 🤣 However, I think it was well worth it.. Its an Enemies to Lovers Trope, Revenge and having True Love and Happiness Blossom in the midst of Chaos... This drama will definitely break your heart but I think it's worth watching regardless.. It was a beautiful story... Their Chemistry was on a different levelSPOILERS: Female lead does die in the last episode However prince Jinghe fulfilled every wish she ever had before she died and they accomplished everything they set out to do.. It's sad but he also ended up dying 10 years after her and his last dying words was
"Mei... Atlast we meet again.".. I think this was a fitting ending in that he restored the peace that was lost for so long and when he was done.. 10 years later he reunited with his wife in death, he was suffering so I was okay with him supposedly going to meet her... He only survived 10 years so he was about 40 when he died...
Kill me love me is a fitting title for this drama
Kill me Love me? He chose to love only her for the rest of his life, when she died he didn't marry again instead he mourned her until he also died.... Its like a Romeo and Juliet kinda vibe.. they couldn't live without each other in the end of this drama... their love was so strong not even death could break their bond...
I think the only reason why he stayed alive for 10 years is because of her, he knew that he promised her to do certain things when he became emperor and so for her I think he tried his best to endure and finally gave out at the end if his 10 year reign....
Despite the sad ending this drama has high rewatch value for me and I don't regret watching it... throughly enjoyed it... 🤍🤍

Beautiful Story of Love And Sacrifice
I think this is hats off one of the best dramas I've ever watched.. It had everything in it... Romance, Comedy, Chemistry, Suspense, Mystery and the list goes on... This story tells a beautiful tale of how powerful love can be and the saving powers that it possesses... Both Do Hee and Gu Won went through so much and received their happy ending.. All is love in love and sacrifice..One of my favorite quotes from was:Do Hee: The world without you was terrible
Gu Won: Same here, being without you is hell to me
In the end they both ended up being each others saviors multiple times... even when they didn't know it themselves.... Its definitely a must watch... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10.. From the storyline to the acting to the plot etc.. everything was well written and well paced... Loved It... The Romantic scenes were really sweet as well...

I'll start by saying that I really enjoyed to acting and the cast in this show, you didn't really dislike anyone and I think everyone played the role well... The chemistry between the two leads were really good as well..
Yes we do have a happy ending for those who are wondering... the main couple does get a happy ending but it doesn't come without many hardships... I do suggest to watch the bonus 1 minute long episodes after watching the last episode 39 because it gives you insight to their married life etc which they didn't really show in episode 39..
My one spoiler for this drama and the one thing I found disappointing was the fact that we had no real kissing scenes or proper romance scenes between the leads and this for me feels like a missed opportunity given the fact that they had so much good chemistry... Im not sure if its the same in the novel but for me thats the one thing that this drama lacked...otherwise its 10/10 for storytelling etc...
It does get have rewatch value for me because of the lack of romance but its definitely worth watching atleast once and again.. The main leads do get a happy ending its just we needed more romance between them... but yeah that pretty much sums up my review of this show...

A Must Watch!
Guardians Of Dafeng definitely has to be one of the best Action/Dramas I've ever watched.. From the acting to the fighting scenes to the many friendships formed in this drama... I think it's well worth the watch.. It had me laughing alot as well.. I love Martial Arts/Swordsmanship Dramas and I feel like this had a little of everything.. It does have some fantasy aspects to it as well.. This drama is not highly focused on romance however the male lead (Dylan Wang) does have a love interest in this drama and they do have atleast two full blown kiss scenes that are very spicy to look forward too... Its definitely worth watching atleast once...Dylans Dramas are usually pretty good, he's one of my favorite Chinese actors and he definitely didn't disappoint me with this one... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS

The webtoons ending is better!
I finally finished this series and I will say it made for a very entertaining show, the actors, the music, the plot twists were all very interesting and made you anticipate the next episode...however Im giving the show a 8/10 rating because hear me out...1) The two male leads deserved a chance at true happiness and they just ended up living their lives in misery allowing themselves to be used by her
2) The main male lead.. The author was at first very Attentive to her but later realized that she is beyond saving so my thing is why not allow him to atleast have a happy ending with the other actress girl? Move away from his mother and live freely? Instead he ended up dying
3) My husband Hwang In Yeop didn't need to die like that either... maybe attempt to kill himself but not actually die.... let him live !
4) Second male lead again died because of her.... everyone around her always ends up dead! So my conclusion for this show was that she'd either end up dead.. an eye for an eye or in the mad house but again that didn't happen! Instead she ended up escaping the car crash with male lead and got away scot free meanwhile male lead died...and then thats how the show ended! I don't find that its very satisfactory at all given the fact that she has caused so many innocent people in this show to die!
Overall I think it was a good show but I didn't think the ending was satisfactory even if its adapted from a webtoon! Kill her off in the ending.. this is what she deserves! She allowed her misfortunes in life to turn her into something more Devilish than her past abusers ( Dad and Mom ) and maybe the bullies at school

I read the webtoons ending... Its the only ending I accept... firstly no one dies... two male leads are alive
Stepbrother: He made the documentary exposing her for all her evil deeds and then he washed his hands clean of her and cut her out of his life... he's still an author and has started a completely different life far away from her!
Jaeoh: When Stepbrother released the documentary Ahjin tried to take her own life and Jaeoh intervened and helped her escape... he remains part of her life now and is helping her raise her child... (I think the child belongs to her Physcopathic husband
Its said that she does return sometime after and hints that she never really changed her ways so the cycle might repeat... in my opinion she should of died in both the webtoon and the drama but unfortunately she lived.... 😄😄
So 7/10 Overall for this Drama

Fluffy And Cute with a touch of Trauma! Well worth your time! ❤️❤️
I recently finished watching this drama and it was such a beautiful watch.. I think the actors they choose for these roles were soo good.. I absolutely loved the fact that they showed the Single Dad's Pov in this show instead of the typical Single Mom.. this is the first time where I saw two single dad who both suffered the loss of their marriages and mates come together as neighbors and friends to create a family unit for their kids... raising them even though they were going through their own pain as well...They showed how hard working they were and how much they sacrificed to ensure that these kids grew up lacking nothing...
I also loved the sibbling relationship between them.. there was no love triangle at all... loved this for the main lead couple... the other brother was very much uninterested in female lead and just loved her as a sister...
Male lead Hwang In Yeop is actually one of my favorite male leads to watch in Korean Dramas and he did the role well.. he has so much depth and emotions.. I love his personality in dramas... Their connection was so cute and their was no uncessary prolonging of anything... there were minimal issues in this drama and even the ones that it did have ( Family Stuff ) it wasn't pro longed..... the pacing of this drama was very good and I loved every minute of it....
If you're looking for a Comedy Romance with depth and good pacing... this is for you!
We got everything! Depth In Romance, Comedy, Family Trauma but it made all of them stronger, non biological brother and sister falling inlove is one of my favorite genres hehehe......
OVERALL: FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
