Starting to hate kdramas releasing on OTT. I mean what's the reason you can't drop entire episodes in one go? There's literally no sense in dropping half now and the rest a month later.
Very underwhelming drama. Yeah, it's still a beautiful drama but some of the arcs were very unfulfilling, and it felt like the whole ending was compacted to fit into 12 episodes. And KIM HYOJIN was excellent in this drama.
I don't agree with people who are saying that "this show is shit but we are watching it". If you are watching this show, then it's quite obvious you like this show and it ain't a shitshow. Just have the courage to accept that rather than jumping on the bandwagon that let me also criticise because apparently many are. I'm not gonna lie, this drama is good, like really good. This drama was made with the intention of being over the top, throwing all logic out of the window and engaging the public with the craziness of the story. It delivered on all these fronts and that's the reason you are watching this show. Just accept that this show is good.
That first part of rd episode correctly shows why this vigilantism should not be encouraged. While vigilantism might sound cold and righteous, it's just another killing. Technically, it's replacing one criminal with another one and who knows if vigilante is doing this for justice of satisfying his bloodlust.
Kim Hyo Jin is totally stealing the show....I really like how she is balancing both her goofy nature while coming very stong in emotional scenes as well.
I have thrown all the logic out for this drama. I'm just enjoying this drama now because of how unpredictable it has become. God bless the writers.....😂😂
Might be an unpopular opinion, but Lee Chung-ah has been quite brilliant in this drama. Whether you like her character or not, is another matter, but this doesn't take away the fact that she has nailed this overjealous Princess role. That scene with her and Jang Hyun when she almost killed herself, was absolutely top-notch.
It all depends on the way they execute it. The actors and writers give fuel to this trope, and it just comes down…
As you said, it all depends on the actor. Sadly the actors aren't that great either. This is Lee Se Young's, I guess, fourth historical and it's like she's bringing nothing new to the table. And from what I've seen of In Jyuk, he is a very limited actor. What I'm trying to say that this trope is now so over, after writers have exploited every permutation and combination that can be made from this. Yeah, the story will sound unique, but the execution will be the same. Rich ML, Poor FL. First he will trouble the FL or he will be insufferable and would harass him, next they would marry each other, next they will grow close, in comes the villain, the fight, reconciliation, the end. That's all what can be expected from this genre now.
The shame sh!t all over again. Rich ML, who is a narcissist and has trouble expressing his emotions. How many fucking times will this plot be used before it runs out of fuel??

Also, Yi-hyun is so damn cute.
