Thanks for this article.. it came at the perfect time because I just started watching Chinese dramas a few days ago! I recommend you watch Rakshasa Street! it's the first Chinese drama I watch and it made me love to watch more and more Chinese dramas.. so cool.
He captures my attention too when I see him in dramas, I really liked him in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and I would like to see him as a lead actor soon. He played the role of a creepy stalker in Suspicious Partner but I still loved him when he was acting sweet (I was disappointed when I found out he was pretending to be sweet and he is actually a stalker TT__TT) anyway I really want to see him acting real sweet in another drama <3
Totally agree with all the actors you mentioned, I really would love to see them in leading roles too. Jun Tae Soo, Kim Ji Han, Lee Wan which I also fell in love with in Tree of Heaven. Yoon Si Yoon too is really a good actor but with no luck in good dramas.
If you like Kitamura Kazuki my advice is don't watch the movie "KILLERS" for him, I almost hated him after watching that movie, I liked him for the first time after watching "Neko Zamurai" and decided to watch all his other works but regretted watching that movie, it made me stop watching his other projects lol. I'm afraid my comment will make you curious to watch the movie instead of avoiding it lol. but I'm serious, that movie is really disgusting & made me feel really uncomfortable, you can tell from the title.
Lol you just want to force someone to like ? so narrow-minded , why can't you accept different opinions? I know myself enough to tell if I have a bigger heart than yours or not, even if I don't know you I believe I have a heart nobody else can challenge me with. also I have a bigger understanding than you in dramas and I don't have to explain to you everything because I feel I'm wasting my time with someone closed-minded like you so bye bye kid.
I give it 8/10 . I always learn something when I watch J-dramas. Many times they impress me with the deep message they want to convey to viewers. As for this drama the message was to value the human life which is very much treated as cheap nowadays by nonstop wars between nations. Sakamoto Ryoma was like "the nation" who wants to destroy another one which is not very similar to his mindset or let's say not very mind-like. And Takechi Hanpeita is "the nation's friend" who doesn't just follow what his friend is doing despite it being right or wrong just because they are friends, but instead he tries to stop him with all his might in order to save the human life whoever it was. He even risks his life to stop him. This was such a touching message with a deep meaning I wish everyone would understand what they are trying to teach us.. impressive indeed.
Can you guys recommend a good drama for him other than Last Cinderella, Kou Kou Kyoushi ? I want to watch other good dramas for him, romantic if possible
