I haven't seen Love Rain (or any other thing and I kinda hate girl's generation) but actually Yoona is doing a very good job in Prime Minister and I, she's hilarious and cute, so I'm not very surprised =P

Honesltly, then, I think that's even worse. And I said Hollywood in a general manner of speaking, not specific Hollywood.
It's not about more versions, it's about americanizing a good series, that has A LOT to do with asian culture and that will probably not be able to trasmit that to the audience.
There are some adaptations that could work (I found out recently that ther kdrama "Nine" is going to be one of them), but that is something that could actually work as a remake, BOF I don't think it will.

I'm not hating and honestly i'm not going to see this version because i'm just not into Boys Over Flowers/Hana Yori Dango, but why did you say that we sould be "grateful"? honestly, hollywood have maken demonstration after demonstration that they do not know how to make GOOD adaptations (specially concerning asian films, dramas, etc)...and plus, I don't see the point of being grateful for america making a remake of boys over flowers...don't we have enough versions already? XDDD arent' those versions good and meaningful and...good? XD if people want to see it, they just have to..see it..
