My sentiments exactly. I think GX's dad is a bad one too. I think he was a reason for their initial break up . In the last episode, when GX was going to Quing with LC, her dad called him instead of calling his daughter. I think he wants GX to be with her boss but we know she's not like that. She even told her bestie that LC was the one and only person she ever dated. I will seriously curse her dad if he dare to break them up again😠😠😠

I think the mother is the worst one yet. Her husband borrowed money from another family to renovate his mechanic workshop and instead of paying his credit back, they suggested a marriage between their divorced daughter and his son to cancel the debt and he readily agreed to it. Since the mother does not have a voice, she agreed to it too and even assured the in-law she would talk to son. Forget the father, as a mother, she failed those kids.

I had my ceremony with her in January this year. When she mentioned 2008, I remembered I was working on my first masters degree and I changed my career field in 2008. The American culture allow people to be the best they can be, but other cultures doesn't. At my graduation ceremony over 500 students received their doctorate and more than half of them were women. I know for a fact that less than 10 of them were Asians because I was particularly interested to see their statistics. I think in most cultures around the world believes that once a woman is married and have children, she must dedicate her life to her family. Thank goodness I was born and grew up in an era that allows women to have a mind of their own or else my father would have been in serious trouble because I'll bluntly refuse to conform to societal norms. I know I'm too headstrong to obey stupid rules😁😁😁

you got that right! It's time for women to wake up. I meet a lady during her graduation ceremony that blew my mind. According to her, in 2008, she only has an Associate degree and she's the mother of 3 boys, ages 3, 4, and 7. She just relocated to another state with the children then. She said she told herself her situation shouldn't be the story of her life. So, she went back to school and in May 2022, she completed her dissertation for her doctorate degree. She rewrote the story of her life as a single mother of 3 with a PhD. I was impressed. That, my friend is a woman of Substance.
