I saw in one of the dramas I watched recently how a married man bought a Ferrari for his girlfriend on his wife's birthday and only gave the little wallet that came with the purchase of the car to his wife as her birthday present on the same day. That was another level of crazy to me because a mistress can leave his sorry ass tomorrow and move on with another man in a blink of an eye. But the woman was the mother of his son. There was no quarrel in the home or anything like that. I couldn't see what was so special about the mistress that the man was so obsessed with her for him to look down on his wife.

I know China is so big and they would have worked with a particular ethnicity, just like in Hello Mr. Recluse drama, where it was filmed with the Dai ethnic group.
