That chat he had with Wuxi gave me hope he planned to place himself in there (obvsly HZC wasn't cutting it🙄). Also loved that Wuxi had her focussed head on throughout. My theory came true in the next ep, so they're actually moving the story fast in this last arc.

I haven't seen ep 29 BUT I hope GTY doesn't, as he knows from experience it'll never end. I didn't like HG b4( just knew him from a clip on 'Street Dance of CN'), but he's actually a good actor, very relatable as an invisible/everyday guy. His whole energy's diff from his usual swaggering self👏🏼👏🏼.

Obviously I like LYT. Being honest I think she excels playing characters pushed to the extreme like in ' Royal Nirvana'/ 'Bloody Romance'. Not everyone can play 'normal'. The wishy washy character they gave her is not helping too. As 4 WDX. I think he tries too hard to play normal, but comes off OTT.
He's miscast as a believable 'slacker'. Someone like Xu Kai/ Bai Jingting might fit it better...

Romance is here in mild forms for the side characters, but it's not the main story. The CP/ partnership between LYT & WDX is ambiguous, probably 1/6 of the content.

At the time I thought GTY did it on purpose so she gets fake intel...but it don't look like it later. I had to laugh when HZC was condescending about the 'Otaku' guy, saying 'he's naïve 2 trust n fall in love with someone he met thru a game'. Then the camera trolls him showing that cam case right under his nose.

HZC annoyed me with the 'gaslighting' he tried on YY, I was so happy when that guy turned up & straighten him out😁. I don't want YY to turn for him, it's not believable. WLK was able to be both but she chose 'pragmatic'. I loved her 'moment' in ep 27💥🖤.

No info on his role yet. I haven't seen WRTW but heard he was good there. He's in 'Spy Game' atm. He can act, as well as being good-looking...they've given Seven loads of great company this time🥰.

I had to roll my eyes there too. & when YY got drunk & went on stage (I'm here for LYT, but I felt 2nd hand embarrassment 4 her). Luckily after ep 13 it's back to the NSA's cat n mouse chase against the ORG. They focus on Fang Lu, his dad + associates. It's good Zhang Hao Wei gets to act for once. BUT by the end of ep 17, I'm not sure if he can anymore😕.

Tony Yang comes out properly by ep 16.

You're not alone. You should've seen the comments here during the finale & in CN. I think the overediting made the U-turn of: siding with the Empress, burying the truth of the 'Moluo Massacre', using Shulin, - sudden/hard to take.

WD's a complex + intense actor, esp when playing broken characters. The last scene walking to the mist, adjusting clothes came from him.

Yes🙏🏼🙏🏼. The cynic in me don't believe what she said about her & Fang Lu's slide into the game. It'll be great if she's ultimately heartless, & him as well.
