YEP, It's definitely a BE saying it's a HE is far from the truth, this is the note of the actor himself, "Today, one body will return to heaven and earth, and the next day will be transformed into a Pebbles in the ice and snow stream on the top of the mountain Weeping willows on the bank we always meet again" @罗云希Leo
Love is Sweet has an incredible HE lolAnyway yeah I used to believe the same as you. I have only watched 1 BE…
I usually avoid any dramas with such endings but this time I fall into the trap. It will take time to forget it for me as well, I have the same experience with other two dramas and it took me almost a month to cool down this time maybe it will be more but I will try to force myself into other things to loosen this a bit early. By watching any new decent delightful series or reading any of my favorite novels or manhuas. Working and chatting with people can loosen me up a little bit as well.

It's a very little happy moments inside a sea of misery and angast add the ending it will literally leave the viewer with a helish feeling, so a HE would be a very good thing to cool the viewer and will be a memorable thing for me but after they left me with that kind of feeling I will try every possible mean to forget about this series completly.

Yeah romances should have a HE. This is bc of YOUKU’s greed they was afraid the drama would lose its peak if they Adapt it into two seasons. As well they left with this kind of ending bc it well create more buzz and that means mor money. Such a greedy company.
You're going to laugh. I just watched the 40th episode. Before that, since May 9, I was in grief after reading…
All I can say I’m happy for you 😊 I wish I would have digested it like that but I tried many times read many comments and nothing changed still has the same thought 😔
Have you watched Moon Lovers? you will suffer more than this 🤣🤣You will need therapy for months to come…
It can be resolved if they have stayed faithful to the source “novel” without this weird plot “the god thing”, bc the novel has already a logical way for him to return but the producers chose to close it as a tragedy for more money 💰

NOPE, it's not not an open ending here a SE bc he died as a god which means he will never reincarnate plus there's a note of LYX on Weibo that means clearly that he has perished!

I know not all of the stories should end with a HE, many stories I've read before I wasn't even minding if they have ended with a SE bc the events are so acceptable, but here a HE was a MUST bc the events are so heavy and bleak we got so little happy moments with such events it doesn't make sense for me but anyway what happened has happened. As for Love is Sweet, I'm not watching any drama right now, don't have any appetite for any right now.
I really don't know what's good about BE, if you have already made your characters and audience go through many difficult and angsty situations what will harm you if you give them a proper ending? Can't you even make them feel light-hearted after going through a lot during the drama? Are the human emotions just a joke writers play with them here and there?
Many could swallow and accept SE or OE endings in any type of drama if they only have enough moments they can cherish through the drama but unfortunate and heartbreaking events from the beginning to the ending does that even seem emotionally healthy?
Life itself is hard and full of misery and injustice, the world is not a paradise or a perfect place so when people watch "Fanasty" the only thing they will be thinking of is escaping from reality to some sort of disneyland, something that fills the gap many of us have already lost in the real world, something that makes them forget all the worries and problems they have in their daily life. We're not escaping from a hard reality to face even a harsher one. We try to create our own medicine by watching entertainment to cool down the outcomes of difficult situations in our life not to face other implications!
I kinda accept the ending here bc I can't change it already but this is a bit of thought I liked to share with you :)
XIANXIA ARE ALWAYS LIKE THIS.THEY LOVEEEE OPEN ENDING TO MUCH
Even in the LFFAD, they have a shred of hope he returned at the last minute. Even in the TSL, we saw them nurture the twin flowers again but here we got none 😔😔.
we always meet again"
