And then ep 8! What a freaking cliff-hanger! It's going to take a miracle! that little Prince? Was he acting or sincere? Evil step-mother! Will the Crown Prince learn this time! But my favorite scene of ep 8; his confrontation with his step-mother outside the room. Epic!!

Totally agree! Never seen the last two older dramas but I am one of the few who loved A Love to Kill (except the ending). As far as the movies, I've only seen 2. I will have to look for The Beast and the Beauty!

As long as you watch this as a drama, not a romance, it is great! But if you are expecting romance; almost non-existent.

I'm going to watch it on a website called seriesbrowser.com. They have pretty much only older Japanese dramas (2010<). Their search does not work, just go to the alphabet and it's there as Antique Cake Store. Decent video and the selection there is amazing

It took Joo Ji Hoon, 6 years plus military service to recover from a drug possession charge. This may take as long and that will put in squarely in his 40s. It's going to be hard for him, that's for sure.
