Article 3 2016 Korean Dramas I’m a little too excited for.

Excited to pick up the Mr Black and Ajussi after Mdm Antoine and One More Happy Ending finishes. Hope they remain good, I've missed Rain and Jin Wook as I had no interest in their last dramas. DotS, I like the military aspect and hope that the romance doesn't totally drown that part out. I guess I'm the opposite of just about everyone else. But it is good.

I reviewed it on my blog and to be honest, it had melodramatic moments and some great family moments. But one thing for sure, the romance in this drama is a rarity for any drama of this length! Only one that comes close is King's Daughter

I'm pretty certain that most people who have watched it loved ugly alert so isn't considered kind of popular??

Again, not when it was airing. She's right in her post. Ugly Alert barely made double digits in the ratings. A lot of people who watched passed the word around and it really was more popular internationally.

Ugly Alert which is a daily drama is like watching a 60 ep drama. Dailies are only around 30-35 min long.

I had no idea the two first ones weren't popular.

They were more popular with non-Korean audiences. When Ugly Alert aired, it rarely hit double digits in the ratings. Another one which was super popular with the International audience with King's Daughter. Everyone was on the Empress Ki wagon.

You get my vote for Ugly Alert! While a lot did not watch it live, the fans that did became rabid fans of the cast, especially Kang So Ra and Im Ju Hwan who I was already fans of both but this drama solidified it!
