So I have been putting this on hold bc I saw clips of FirstKhao crying their eyes out as SandRay and I am still…
"Sand, ever since you came into my life, I've been so damn happy, soo happy" ππππ EP10 was soo freaking heavy ππ I don't even care about the other cp anymore, SandRay have my whole heart β€οΈ ray is a lost soul in constant pain, so damn happy he finaly is getting therapy! FirstKhao's acting is just brilliant, they truly never disappoint. My fav actors pair π₯° Puh still 2 more ep to go. I am exhausted, emotionaly drained! But I can't put it away! And I also don't want it to end! Realy hoping for a happy end for SandRay.
So I have been putting this on hold bc I saw clips of FirstKhao crying their eyes out as SandRay and I am still so not ready to see them suffer but I will finaly binge watch this now! Puh I mean even the synopsis is chaotic but I am ready for it now! π wish me luck, I will report back once I am done.
I freaking loved this so much! Just binged watched it. Even though ther is like absolutely no form of romantic skinship btw the MLs - and I don't mean necessarely NC scenes but stuff like handholding or resting his heads against shoulder or something like that - you could clearly feel that those two are in love with each other like romanticaly. Esp Kohei, it was so clear from the beginning and with Taishi you could clearly see him slowly falling in love too. Him beeing so dense about it was realy annoying though. Like at the end I was screaming at my screen for him to finaly realise his feelings for Kohei. Even though I don't realy liked Maya's character I was so thankfull she knocked some sens into him! But yes my piont is even withouht the skinship, I dind't feel like it was more a bromance at all (not like 2gether, which I recently watch, were the love btw the ML felt more like bromance than romantic and skinship would have fixed that there) this proves that not every love storie needs skinship if the actors are able to portray the love their charactes are feeling in other ways. And those actors did it so well with there eyes and a beautiful skript to, like every time Kohei spoke about Taichi and about what he means to him, ugh my heart melted! Some great lines. Only the end was quite unsatisfying though, that is why it is only a 9/10 for me. Like I would have loved at least a kiss, when Taichi finaly confessed. I think this would have been more meaningfull and touching than the hug. And after that when they were eating lunch together at their spot, why not sit closly to each other or something like that? I think this was actually the moment more skinship would have elevated how they felt. Or maybe I just want to see more how their relationship progress from here on. I mean I would love to see their life together now. Ok rant over
Love reading the theories about who the killer might be! There are some wild theories out there π But Jay is mention a lot and I totaly agree, he is very suspicious, like always the one who knows the most and warns Jade and Kamin and giving information π€ very suspicious indeed. I know he is Jade's brother so close to the Investigation by default but still. So suspicious But for Jade's sake I realy hope it is not his brother
I don't get it, Tonkla got the letter first before Belle, but Belle died first?
I think that is because Tonkla chose dare and on the dare carte he had to choose btw Belle or Chareen and he chose Belle, so that is why he got away and she had to die
Normaly I wait till a series is completed to bingewatch but I couldn't anymore. Now I have to suffer every week to ππ It's sooo good so far! Really intrigued by the murder case and the friend group. And JoongDunk chemistry is always Peak
What if Jay is the serial killer and he used to like Puifai but never got to confess his feelings to her. He knew…
So in your theory someone else killed Puifai and the serial killer aka Jay is taking revenge on the whole group? Bc Kamin and Jade are suspecting there is only on killer who killed all of them including Puifah and she must have gotten a letter to. So than it is not revenge for Puifah if the killer killed her to, the first to.
Actually sooo glad I watcht this! I was kinda dissapointed in S1 bc I felt like their chemistry was off, it felt more like two straight best friends than romantic couple. I blamed it on the lack of skinship, and I don't mean NC Scenes but stuff like holding hands or lying there heads on each others shoulder. Instead we got high fives and "can I touch your boobs" (still find it totaly weird they say that to each other) But still 2gether gave me everything that was lacking. We finally see them holding hands, resting their heads on each other shoulder, placing a hand on each other legs, kiss. Their chemistry improved so much I didn't even mind the "boobs" joke anymore. Still need to be patient though bc like the first 2 ep I was scared it felt like a bromance again but from ep3 on it really improved! Fav scene was when they saw each other again after 2 weeks on opposite sides of the road, that was soooo freaking cute! Sure there are still some problems, it is not perfect but this bonus season really elevated the series for me, so glad I watched it
WAIT, why they are still celibate even a year after? This is the most ridiculous βrelationshipβ I have seen…
So in the case of Wat and Thin (the character in the series) I completely agree with you, esp. when in the earlier ep of S1, we saw Thin simp over girls.
But I just want to piont out that there are ppl (regardless of gender) who don't have sex or enjoy it or just dont feel sexual atraction. Have you ever heard of Asexuality? This is a sexual orientiation where ppl feel little to no sexual attraction to other ppl. It is on a spectrum like some might still enjoy having sex, other are even disgusted by NC scenes in media and so on. There are many sublabels to it. If you want to know more, look it up. And this has nothing to do with mental oder physical ilness (like low libido). Just wanted to let you know bc your comment about young men always wanting to have fun is a allonormativ trivialization. Human experiences are much more complex than this and should not be reduced to hormons
I think this bl just didn't age well. Bl's nowadays are much more bolder about showing affection through skinship. It can even be too much sometimes - like do we realy need a NC scene every Ep π but that is another topic intierly. Anyways, The little skinship we had here felt so off for me. Not saying there wasn't any chemistry but it felt more like best friends than lovers. There is lot I could point out that made me feel this way but here is one example. The way Wat said goodbye to Thin when leaving the dorm with a pad on his shoulder. This is just a little thing but still it felt so off. I see my straight male friends saying goodbye like this all the time. It is just such a straight male move. So I get it when ppl say this is a straight BL. Like what was up with the boobs joke? I found that sooooo weird! Also there were sooo many moment where a kiss would have elevated emotional scenes like on the bus when Wat showed Thin the video of him singing a song to Thin recorded after meeting Thin for the first time. This would have realy sealed the deal about their feelings. Or at the end when they get back together I mean wtf was that Highfive when Wat Band's won the contest?!? Some cp don't need skinship to show their in love, you can feel it by just watching them gaze at each other, the chemistry is so strong. But with BrightWin I thing it would have been necessery, I don't know if it was a directional dec or if the actors weren't confortable enough weo (they did have a few kissin scenes though) but well something was just missing. And I don't mean NC or kising scenes necessarly just beeing afectionated to each other in a romantic way would have been nice. Like do they even hold hands once? It just felt to platonic. Also I would have loved to see Thin initate skinship just once, it was always Wat and that felt very onesided. Esp. when in earlier ep we saw Thin simp over girls ( I am reffering to the bathing suit scenes when Thin's friends signed up for the swimming team or them at that bar where only weird stuf is served - those are scenes which didn't age well) I have so many other thoughts about it but this already turn into an essay so I leave it at that.
Wow!just wow! This was just soo good! Ugh Japanes BL never disapoint! It had everything I liked, alternate universe story with complex and layered characters and a caring gentle romance! And all this in the calm, composed setting which japanes dramas are master in. Ending felt a bit rushed thought. And that last bit I felt like consent wasn't really given, which is a topic I am sensitiv about and in a lot of bls it is unfortunately a big problem! But Oh my, this was truly brilliant nontheless! I just gave a standing ovation alone in my room at midnight after finishing it, it was that good
This show has so many ups and downs, sometimes sooo cringe esp the overacting in comedic scenes , sometimes super funny! I had a hard time watching it in the beginning but I am glad that I stuck with it and finished it. It wasn't by far perfect but a fun watch. Considering for its time of release ( the BL in 2020 weren't as bold and as high quality as what we get nowadays) it is pretty solid and tackels issues of selfestem -which I can totaly relate to - shipping culture and how it affects the ppl who are shipped together. I can imagine that PondPhuwin could have drwan from real experiences. It was also so fun to watch, how far PondPhuwin have developed in the past 5 years. Never let me go was only there 2nd series after this and the improvement in there acting and chemistry had already a biiigg jump!
Japanese BLs just hit different! This was soo beaitiful, the cinematography was breathtaking, loved the rooftop scenere with the open ocean. The aczing was soo good, the story, the characters and the script! I mean they were some beautiful lines! β€οΈ "I belong to myself" π I admit it might not be everyones cup of tea but I just love these typ of slow, calm and grounded kind of storitelling which japan is a master in! They just move me right in the heart
I am soo glad I started this after ep3 aired, the first 2 ep are sooooo sad! Really can't wait for Ep4. Ugh why does it have to be 1 ep every week! I normaly wait until a series has finished airing to bingewatch but really couldn't wait more than 20 Weeks for this, so I guess I will endure the torture of waiting every week π
FirstKhao's acting is just brilliant, they truly never disappoint. My fav actors pair π₯°
Puh still 2 more ep to go. I am exhausted, emotionaly drained! But I can't put it away! And I also don't want it to end! Realy hoping for a happy end for SandRay.
