Title Caged Again
the last scene is killing me bc why are they are in antarctica, the coldest place on earth, and sun is visibly…
His love for Junior is that intense 🔥

The scene of our leads using sign language to one another at the crosswalk had me so stressed out, I seriously…
YESS
After the traumatic and sudden endings of Stay with Me and The On1y One (and in a way, Blue Canvas) I was equally anxious omg

Chinese series really scarred me with their endings 💀

Title See Your Love Spoiler
Jaopeng's actor is so good I genuinely thought he was actually deaf and mute in real life. His voice at the end was a massive surprise lol

It has been years since I have seen an ending in text.I didn't need to look any further to know it was a Chinese…
Also, lol at people who complain about getting "just" one kiss.

First of all, I didn't even notice. This series is/was that good in that regard.
Secondly, are you guys new here? This is a CHINESE series. Everything we had with this series is so much more than what you can realistically expect.

I'm sure if it were up to them there would have been so much more.

I didn't need to look any further to know it was a Chinese series and not Taiwanese after all that lol

CONSPIRACY TIME: Between the text ending and the final scenes looking like flashbacks, I wouldn't be surprised if the producers filmed the whole thing as if it was a sad ending series and told the censors that the scenes used at the end were just extra footage for the ep 7 flashbacks, so they could sneak out a happy ending.
That would explain how a 10/10 series had such a technically atrocious ending imo, they do what they can.

Whatever the case may be, I hope the best for all the team involved, Doing LGBT work like this in China is really tough.

Yeah I'm with you on that, but at the same time Bible actor is just 18 years old, so its kinda understandable…
btw, speaking of young actors, if you want to be surprised by the career of someone young you should check out the career of the youngest main protagonist in the main couple of Addicted Heroin (thai).

He's like just 19 years old and has a huge track record.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting that either. I only found that out thanks to another comment mentioning it.

Plus it doesn't really make much sense in the plot, since it seems that Bible has been in jail for quite some time. Although to be fair, isn't really that obvious that his actor is only 18.

P'Dome (the director) doesn't want to direct a bl. He said he doesn't know how to handle one.
I mean, this series really blurred the line of a BL lol
It had quite a lot of fanservice

Maybe he means a romance full of clichés, which are really common. In that case I understand.
You can really tell they have a low budget on this series, but personally I feel you can tell it's a passion project. Also, as someone who shot in a prison (though not in Thailand), I must say it's a pretty tough thing to do. They have my full respect.

The only criticism I have (which may be explained later, though I doubt it) is that there is a hell of a difference in appearance between the main characters and the rest of the inmates. It is quite distracting (especially in wide shots with a lot of people).
I understand that it's not part of the genre, but for example it's just uncanny that only the main characters are clean-shaven and groomed. Besides the rest of the physical appearance, of course.

Anyway, this series is something new and fresh, and it doesn't look like it could have any clichés even if it wanted to. I look forward to the new episodes.

It's good so far, but really wish it was a movie cut and not these 10 or so minute episodes.
Since they are releasing 4 episodes in a row per week, and there are going to be over 20 (according to a comment in the official channel) I consider that every 4 episodes equals to 1 full 40 minutes episode and there will be 6 full episodes in total.

I guess that they are split into chapters this way for ad revenue, but I can't be sure. I agree that it's hard to really explore a story with this kind of direction in 10 minute chunks though.

Umm, I don't see why the hate? I mean, everyone understanding Thai is awfully convenient but I found it more funny than anything else.

And about people complaining that the plot doesn't move forward, I completely disagree. Each episode is barely 16 minutes long (minus opening and ending), we barely watched a little over a whole 40 minute episode so far and I think the plot advanced quite a bit imo.

I find it a refreshing series, where there is not only romance but also a murderer and a guy wanting to protect his partner. Almost like a psychological thriller that happens alongside a romantic comedy. I also think that the combination of Korean and Thai helps the audience that is not used to watch dramas in that language.

Not to mention the excellent chemistry between the actors, even though they speak different languages.

Can't wait for the next episodes lol

does it takes place in the 2000s ?
No, they are just very poor lol
On Happy of the End Sep 28, 2024
People always talk about a series being realistic, but this one was truly realistic.
Of course the protagonists' story is not something that happens to the average person, but the execution is excellent.

Also, while raw, it's not overly crude, tear-bating or sadistic. In that regard I'd say it's even better than the manga. The series had many opportunities to be more over the top dark, but it didn't (when many other series would have).

Also, it captures very well the way of life of the “low life people”. People who feel like trash, with no outlook for the future and largely abandoned by society. Yet they live in their world anyhow, getting on with their lives.

Plus, the gay characters really felt gay. Their experiences are things I heard of in my own experience and their feelings were genuinely relatable.

A perfect 10/10, and I never rate 10/10.

Kinda nice series, to be honest. As long as you manage your expectations and its not your first Thai series.
It's very dated, yes. It has humour that is cringe-worthy most of the time. Can't wrap its head around the concept of bisexuality. It has subplots that no one really cares about nor affect the plot whatsoever (i.e. Pop's girlfriend's bulling plot point is very gratuitous and neither affects the story nor her character really).

But the main characters grow on you and you end up wanting to see them interact more. It's nice to kill some time and you'll end up saying "lol wtf" more than once.
The ending is open-ended, but kinda decent.
Don't be afraid to fast forward through the parts that don't interest you. You can just watch the scenes of the main couple and you won't miss anything.

Don't even think about touching the second season tho. Ruins everything, is sad, very cruel, never gets better and the ending is just awful. NOT canon if you ask me.

Stick with the end of this season and enjoy the series if the first few episodes caught your interest.
Replying to Nezuh May 18, 2024
If you liked the first season, don't watch this. Trust us, it ruins everything. There's a reason this is one of…
How the hell did we go from making rape jokes in the first season (which made me uncomfortable, but I put up with it) to one of the main characters actually being raped in such a cruel way? And what's worse and makes even less sense, how could Pop have handed him over? How could he not have sensed that something was wrong? AND SINCE WHEN HAS POP BEEN SO APATHETIC TOWARDS OAT???

That's just one of the problems btw. This season is awful all along.

And please don't get me started on that Oat monk thing. WTF WAS THAT. It has truly traumatized me. It's not canon, no one can convince me otherwise.
If you liked the first season, don't watch this. Trust us, it ruins everything.
There's a reason this is one of the worst (if not the worst) ranked series on the site.

Feels like it was made with malice, I have no idea if the original story is this cruel, but it doesn't make sense anyway.

DON'T WATCH THIS.
AND IF ANYONE ASKS ME, THIS IS NOT CANON.
On Absolute Zero Nov 27, 2023
I'm on episode 7, except for the first episode, I had to watch everything in 1.75x or 2x speed.

I don't dislike slow series, but I wish someone would have told me to just watch the first episode and skip straight to episode 7.

Not only did pretty much nothing happen between those episodes, but it is extremely uncomfortable to watch due the age difference of both characters.
If it was just the young Ongsa's side, it wouldn't be a problem, it would even be understandable. But old Suansoon gives in! Sorry for the spoiler (kinda), but honestly it's very disturbing and I think it needs a warning.
