The Good Bad Mother not getting any awards is surprising to me, but nonetheless The Story of Park's Marriage Contract & My Dearest getting the vast majority of the awards is very deserving.
He has two kids, and now they're gong to be growing up without a father. Lee Sun-Kyun had a huge impact in the Korean entertainment industry and he will always be remembered. Parasite is still the best Korean Movie I've ever watched, and I'm afraid nothing will even come close to it.
Hye-son has the best smile and I just loved everything about her. Ha-jeong is also another favourite of mine she's funny, cute and adorable all at the same time. Minji is slowly winning me over, the way she flirted with Jin-seok made me blush and got me kicking my feet. Min-woo has that puppy personality, so I can see why so many girls like him. Min-kyu is underrated and I hope he finds a way to end up with Gyu-ri.
I send my deepest condolences to his family & friends. Loved him in Coffee Prince, Parasite and My Mister. A very talented actor that we lost way too soon.
Basically Its Chicago Typewriter setting with Kingdom Plot. The production quality is good but too much for a rehashed monster plot. A solid 7.5/10 so far, we'll see how the last 3 episodes go.
Hye-seon and Ha-jeong are my personal faves, the rest don't really stand out for me. For the men Min-kyu, Jin-seok and Min-woo all seem like good options. Dex is a good addition to the panel and I hope he's a permanent stay. I like how they changed things up, but until it feels less scripted, season 1 will forever remain the best.
The first 3 episodes were mid but the 4th episode was amazing though. So it's really odd to rate a drama truthfully when you split into two parts, and when we all know that there's 8 episodes in total.
My Demon is straight up a teen drama. Underwhelming acting and the plot is just ok. The two leads are visuals and that's all you need to grab this gens attention. The Story of Park's Marriage Contract is just miles better imo. Plot is good and the cast is straight up amazing.
For me Alchemy of souls S2 was the biggest disappointment. When you go from one of the best dramas of 2022 to what the hell did I watch, that's truly disappointing. Huge downgrade on FL too, she was all face & no acting. 10 episodes wasted to say the least. Overrated is Moving, Duty After School, and King The Land.
The cinematography and comedy in My Demon, are the best things about it so far. The Story Of Park's Marriage Contract is just better overall. This is me being unbiased, I love both dramas though.
The Story of Park's Marriage Contract is better so far. I like both leads, especially Lee Se-young and her acting is already going crazy. My Demon is good though. It's definitely more focused towards the younger audience. Kim Yoo-jung & Song Kang's visuals are going insane.
Dramas that don't get hyped up are usually the ones that are good imo. Just going off this year alone, many of the popular dramas ended off being mid or just bad imo, some good but not many. Enjoy what you like because everyone's standards are different.
People are taking Strong Girl Namsoon too seriously, when it's suppose to be fun & unserious. Also it's a spin-off, so I don't understand why people have to compare to the original.
On HiTV it says there's 20 episodes, but on here it says 10, wondering if that's a mistake or not. The first 4 episodes are good, better than I expected tbh.
I don't want to sound rude, but Moving doesn't deserve all of those awards. The only one I can somewhat agree on is best visuals effects. People really forgot about dramas like See You In My 19th Life, The Good Bad Mother, My Perfect Stranger...etc
