They think people are so thirsty to watch the explicit scenes. The target audiences (young, college students) didn't like the storyline. If it's for older audiences/women like Marriage feat Love n Divorce or World of Married then it's a different story.
The actors are getting paid of course but at the same time they get harsh criticism by the public, must been hard. Be strong!

The cheating dramas you mentioned above are more focus on adult women/men while Nevertheless is about young people. Different target audiences. I read on news, SK adult women like this type of drama and they're the major contributor for the ratings lol.

I watched SMA older drama like MGIAG, TWY, OMV, ALTK and all i can say is she's a queen of chemistry. You watch her drama and can't help to ship her with her partners. It's the same with HCCC too! Chemistry is off the charts 🔥🔥🔥
