The main reason why I'm prone to watch it (beside all the obvious reasons), is that it's currently airing, so that makes it easier to follow. The thing is it's going to last till mid april, so I'm going to have to wait and suffer for a long time... XD
If the drama is just 16 eps, I usually wait untill it's completely released, and then watch it all at once

Why does he (Jang Geun Suk) wear such a terrible haircut? At the beginning it's weird and unbalanced, but after he cuts it, it get's worse.

Indeed, but like, how come so people love them, and you're just like 'meh'? I know it's easy to know if a drama would be awsome or not for the very first eps, but sometimes eventhough they're not great, neiher they are average. ''Good'' is a nice word, as well. But you hardly ever use it

As I never watched historical dramas before, I'm afraid of not liking them. I thought of starting one because I realised Ha Ji Won has this 'Empress Ki' project on, and everybody's kinda loving it, so I thought I could catch up and so. But it's kinda long, and if I don't like it, I'll be really sad and in trouble ^^' Otoke?

I think the age difference impression depends pretty much on what dramass you've watched before. I didn't watch some of the dramas you mentioned, so I didn't have that awkward feeling at all, or I had it in a lower dose =) I guess this will happen more and more frequently as you get to watch more dramas. Young talented newbie stars will eventually start acting along with old successful stars, eg: You Who Came From The Stars, with Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun. That makes it fascinating and exciting for the younger part, and the success may be accurate somehow, IMAO
