The synopsis sounds about as interesting as watching paint dry... I honestly hope there is more to this drama…
I think its a slice of life drama that will focus on love,friendship and family. In the poster you can see many protagonist I think itās an Ā«Ā ensembleĀ Ā» cast: multiple leads, hence the 40 episodes. If you are looking for adventurous,tulmutous or heavy drama, I dont think this one will fit you thats for sure š

They usually either air them during summer vacation or the end of the year/start of the year thats when people watch dramas more apparently. And since period drama are damn costly, they needāto get that moneyš š So often they just dump them all in a short span of time and then there is nothing for a long time. Just look at this summer, we got LLTG, IS and LBFAD.
On Iqiyi , it seems to be the next airing drama and has 2022 as year of airing. But it doenst mean much, anyway we can still hope that it will air by the end of the year^^
At my end it still says release date of next year. How do you know it comes earlier?
Apparently the year of release has only changed to 2022 on China Iqiyi Platform not on the international one so there is a strong belief that the drama will air in the last quarter of 2022. Possibly November 1st.

Yes and the writer is so-so too. I have no expectation about the drama as a whole but I think that Dylan & Zeng Li are such good actors that they will have me tuning in anyway.
Sad in the drama hopeful in the book. I prefer the book version it makes more sense considering Feng Zhiwei characterization…
I agree just based on the first chapter and what she did, you could feel that her protraying in the drama had nothing to do with what she is in the book. No wonder fans were angry. Ultimately, the drama ending may fit more with who Feng Ziwei is in the drama rather than the ending in the book that fits the Feng Ziwei from the book.
I dont have any issue with Yukee Chan acting, I thought she was really moving & good in Memory of Encaustic Tile…
I know everyone says that she is a good second lead actress and not made for bigger role, which makes little sense to me. She should have her shot at being the lead like any other actresses & not being stuck at being second lead when she has the acting range to be more.
Letās be honest, she really has been given shitty script after shitty script. If your character is unidimensional there is just so much you can do. As I said before, I watched her in Memory of Encaustic Tile where her character was may be basic but at least layered and she was really good in it. She made a beautiful pairing with the lead actor & second lead too.
Letās give her a chance before damning her, thats all Iām asking.
Actually I didnāt like her acting when she was with Leo Luo but improved recently. She still has room to improve.
