I feel like he found out later after hiring her that she is interested in FL. Would love to know their relationship. I thought he will not be so close to that lighthouse project but this plot wants to connect amost everyone to it lol.

He changes his behaviour in later episodes. Romance is not really the main point of this drama but part of it. Their pairing does make sense in later episodes.

I think so too. I like that they havent put too much emphasis on it so far since usually with this trope it is a bigger part of the plot.
