He changes his behaviour in later episodes. Romance is not really the main point of this drama but part of it. Their pairing does make sense in later episodes.

that reminds me, he told his ancestors to protect the shaman house and to leave it... We never saw his wife and he basically was in the palace the whole time. How did he end up having descendents lol. Weird seeing them together with that in mind.
