Yeah SWL’s parents backstory was really interesting. When i read abt it i get why people would want a whole novel abt it. I even saw some fancasting on this, ofcourse its JiangCheng (?), Oceans lookalike from Untamed could definitely pass as his father 😁

To add to what others have already shared and correct me if im wrong but i read somewhere (can’t remember where, i think the extra chapter when SWL was held captive by his alpha dad) and it was revealed that ShenYu (alpha father, ceo with mafia ties) was actually the one obsessed with YingYi (omega father, youngest high ranking military official), ShenYu even tried altering his pheromones to increase their compatibility. But it was absolute that it was the alpha dad who was head over heels with the omega father while the omega was actually very emotionally close and rational. Basicallywhat SWL believed all this time abt his parents were false, his alpha dad thought to be stone cold was a wife pleaser and the omega dad thought to be clingy was very rational and strong.

I guess it kinda explains too why SWL, compared to other characters from an alpha parent who have multiple siblings and illegitimate siblings, is an only child cos his alpha dad only ever wanted to have a child with his omega. I only read some bits from some sources so i’m not sure how it all went down to the killing of the mistress, i guess this will all be explored in the rumored upcoming novel about SWL’s parents, which sounds really interesting btw.

I think HY was trying to help cos that time SWL was already going manic crazy because of the mate seeking syndrome (?) and he was already hurting himself. But knowing HY and what he’s capable of he could’ve helped SWL in lots of other better ways, maybe help reunite the two or atleast help them talk. Or even before that, he knows how slow SWL was he could’ve just been straight to the point and told him abt GT but he was being a smartass 🥲 and ofcourse as we said their story was really rushed in the novel, some parts felt like an afterthought.

Agree, same with you i really hated the way their story went in the novel. SWL was doing his best to reconcile with GT but everyone was against them.

Even if novel SWL might deserve it, show SWL definitely doesn’t. He’s very caring in the show compared in the novel. And i really wanted SWL to be there for GT during pregnancy cos that was the time they needed each other the most. I really want them to clear the misunderstanding and talk and skip the time jump, though i know theres a low chance of it happening 🥹 we just want fluffy scenes for our LangTu couple too 🥹

yeah, i don’t mind not including them but im not sure if they’d skip the time jump (though i sooooo want them to) cos from the bts it looks like the reunion/ hug scene and gao lele is already a toddler 🥹 i want SWL to support GT when he needs him most

No chance they’ll cut out the mpreg cos thats the 2nd cp’s main plot from the trailer “running away with a baby - wife chasing” 😁 though with the pace this is going i doubt they’ll do the extra chapter details and will instead do their own thing here, which is also a good thing. Because im not sure how they could be able to fit MaHeng (alpha who has a crush on GT) or SWL’s dad in the last few episodes seeing as even the main CP’s story is still at its climax. I just hope they could lessen the angst for the 2nd cp and give us some fluff atleast 🥹

Hmm not sure but i do remember HY asking SWL a few times when will he confess to GT or when will he lower his pride and win his “wife” back something like that 🤭 HY did try multiple times to make SWL confess before GT left 😅

Or the earthquake didn’t shake SWL’s brain enough 😂

I really hope and think they’ll do too, they’re doing a pretty good job so far of interweaving both story.

I swear even in the novel HY has been giving hints to SWL here and there but this dense alpha’s just too slooow to realize his own feelings 🥲 i think GT isn’t there anymore when HY teased SWL though.

Here comes HY fully pursuing his alpha, let him grovel first SY, dont let him off too easy 😂

Oh believe me, i dont blame GaoTu or SWL. With parents as abusive (GT) or traumatizing (SWL), these two didnt stand a chance. I just wish these two can just sit down and talk properly abt their feelings.
