I totally agree with the anti drug dramas, not only recently it like most investigations ones are anti drug —like, we’ve seen it all, you know? Let’s get some new storytelling energy in here already.

^^ Honestly, it's not just triggering, it’s infuriating how they ignore the real damage behind those messed-up dynamics. It's surreal how often these shows end up whitewashing abusive behavior. It's like they're trying to turn real trauma into mere drama, and that's just not okay. When abuse is sanitized or even glamorized, it feels like a slap in the face to anyone who's suffered through it. But then again the older gen hate to be told anything against their beliefs.

I really hope the director and writer don’t fumble the bag by glorifying the parents. Like, we finally got an investigation show that’s this good, and it’d suck if they ruined it by whitewashing toxic behavior. Just keep it raw and real—nobody needs a redemption arc for these messed-up parents, lmfao.
