I can't be agree more about those repetitive lovey dovey talks and flashbacks , it got so annoying and boring that I dropped it, I don't know how so many people liked it , but i guess it's because of the cast since both are great and lovely actors, I couldn't convince myself to give it a low rate too because i truly love both Yuning and ShiShi ,so I just left it unrated

if it wasn't scripted then when the boy was calling her legs ugly and short was also bullying her , why no one attack him? it was scripted for them but when it comes to Esther it suddenly wasn't scripted ?!

being rich is not a crime , she didn't do anything wrong that deserve the hate, she is not responsible for others paltriness and shity lives, she had many support roles and competed In many shows and competitions same as all those other actress in her age, directors came to her support showen her messages that she was asking and begging for a role , she was unemployed for 3 years
all of those hating her if were born half as rich as her would never do any hard work, wouldn't even made a career for themselves, They would spent their whole lives shopping and having fun and doing nothing

the unknown actress was using Esther Yu's name to sell herown flop dramas for many years suddenly after 9 years she remembered that she is being bullied ?! I don't buy it actually
in other hand if the show wasn't scripted then the other members didn't had script either ,so when they were telling Esther that her legs are short and not pretty they were bullying her too !!!
it gets more funny that all these different allegations came together at once and exactly the moment she leaves her company

it's a great drama just not for Asian dramers taste, to me it's the best thing China ever made , but I'm a western dramer for years too so I have used to this kinds of dramas, very dark with open ending
also the duration is long the numbers of episodes are low so to me it wasn't boring at all , it was fast forwarding without any unnecessary scenes
actually I disagree a little with other replies with all respect to their opinions, ZLH is not naive here and Esther's character is actually smarter than the second FL but it would spoil you if I explain it and to me all the fighting scenes were actually very great , it actually has the best fighting scenes I have ever seen in Cdramas
overall the opinions about this drama can be very different , so it's better to watch couples of episodes and decide yourself to continue it or not
as for Cheng Lei ... he rocked here. it's still his best role ( I think we all can agree on this one) it's look like it was written and made for him , his character is the best in this drama

the side characters are mysterious and deceitful while the first lead are more straight and honest
the second couple are more engaging due to their dark characters

I think most of those who watch East Asian dramas are looking for a fairy tale love stories with a colorful screen and happy ending for all , not ready for these types of dramas

to me this is far better than both of POB and LLTG combined, but it's a matter of taste, I prefer good fighting (martial arts) scenes ,complexity of story and mysterious characters , if you prefer these elements too then this drama is for you

not a kdrama fan, but I watch whatever Lee Dong Wook plays, he is so good-looking and a brilliant actor and this drama is one my most favourite Asian dramas , it had everything I wanted from a drama, comedy, action, mystery, adventure Great acting, great writing and great OSTs
I think the score is low , by MDL standards it deserved 9 or above (but it is just my opinion)

I just started this , I'm Episode 4 and it's my first Cheng Yi drama , now I can be sure those who say Cheng Yi can't act are bunch of losers with no brain, my guy is brilliant, I would say one of the best Chinese actors I've seen so far next to Xiao Zhan and Steven Zhang

17 thousand of viewers decided that it's worthy of 8.5 and a great drama , Esther herself played very well , great comedic mimics and body language and beautiful chemistry with Ding Yuxi .
you should get a job, instead of wasting your life to downgrade hard work of more successful people who are not even aware of your existence

we need the second season, and I hope they don't change the cast like they do all the time with other dramas
