I was holding on this for a year because i am not much into historical power struggle drama. But i just gave it a try for the cast and binged half the drama 12 hrs straight (losing my sleep) and it was totally worth it. Now this is one of my favorites.
Some people don't come here for so-called "romance." Ever heard of preferences?
i mean what did you expect form a drama whose one of the genre is romance... i said that because if it doesn't focus on romance part while belonging to that genre then it will be a bit disappointing.....
For ppl saying its not similar to goblin lemme break it to u - without Goblin there would have been no Kokdu today.…
we cant just compare every fantasy drama with goblin now can we? Every drama has it's own charm to it. This drama ain't bad so far but idk if i will continue it or not.

pretty sure jung ji soo is the girl which comes later in the story to whom ML falls in love with in a reincarnated life. ML lives 13 different lives in the webtoon and there are side characters as well in some cases, so if they follow webtoon cast is quite big to name in detail.
I've read the webtoon. it was good but imo the story was lacking. hopefully they will change the story a bit to…
i actually want to see how they will pull this off. because its not easy to adapt if they are to take every aspect of the webtoon. it needs a lot of good cast if they were to adapt it completely.

death is a a main character and its character is cruel as hell romance is there a very little bit for some time (and its not between ml and death) at least thats what happened in the webtoon.
1. he was hiding that knife and he wasn't the culprit so thats out. 2.him helping the murderer was just something we know but the cops just speculated that on the basis of circumstantial evidence, they need conclusive evidences to keep him in custody. By the time RSJ went to him he commited suicide. 3. tbh the character of charles kind of felt like a forced extra because of the lack of depth to him.
