Yeah and it wasn't particularly successful when it came out. It only picked up steam among western viewers once the KDrama wave started. And when i say western viewers i mean female viewers obviously.

Oh no personally i do like it, in fact i watched it twice by now. I was commenting on your response, which seemed rather emotional i must say xD Im not saying you are not allowed to like the show! If you do, you do, all good. But objective measures still have their place, even if they don't have to influence our opinions about a particular show. But the whole point of this discussion was meant to just point out that while Lee Jae Wook is certainly a solid actor, he is not quiet in the position to just pass up "bigger" projects like this one!

If you don't base your judgments on viewership and ratings you can't claim "Massive and undeniable popularity". Your sole opinion doesnt make a show massive or popular. As nosnoop mentioned overall the show was only average, thats why they cut season 2 short in the first place!

I agree! I don't understand how other countries are allowed to have their own culture and tradition and past times?! Can't they just all do what we do, we are so much better after all with heavy drugs and p**n. It's annyoing.
