Dropped it at episode 10/11. The FL just looks annoyed all the time. I dont know why she keeps her face like that all the time because the actress does have other expressions… just ruins every scene that demands other expressions for me. And now with the introduction of the annoying friend from the past, I can already predict that she will be falsly recognized as the missing daughter of that one clan, will fool everyone for quite some time, will be annoying AF and somehow force the ML to get engaged with her…
Maybe I will pick it back up once part 2 gets released…
At the end when the ML and the girl sit in the car. She asked him if it was worth it for the money and threw it away and then he hands her the phone and jumps into the river. What was said on the phone that made her realise its not about money? Not sure if I missed something or the translations were wrong 😅
Never have I felt so empty after the 1st episode of a Korean drama. They usually start very strong or are bad, but never have I had no opinion... It wasn’t good or bad. Stuff happened and then the episode was over.

Well, he did try to get her fired multiple times. Just not in a psycho/evil-mastermind type of way, which we have seen hundreds of times already. I mean, “jealous co-worker tries to get the main character fired and ends up being fired himself/herself”-plot has been done enough times already. And I think after each fail, he regretted what he had done. For example, after the article he wrote, he got called out multiple times and he had that look on his face. And in the end, he just didn’t want to admit that someone like the main character could be more capable than him (the outburst in the parking lot when he finally admits that Woo Young Woo is the strong one out of the 3 new lawyers). He finally moved on after he saw that Woo Young Woos strategy, which was dismissed by their superior, is the way to win the last case.
But yeah, I agree. After that night in Jeju he got too “friendly”. I’m almost sure he had a more fleshed out character in the script. Sometimes 16 episodes are just not enough 😊
But overall, I found his character very interesting. For me he was a different perspective on the main character and made me ask myself: How much should the rules be bent for a person with a disability? What is fair for everyone? Can it even be fair? Can it even be called unfair if the rules are bent? Can you compete for a position with a person with a disability? What’s too much? Who deserves it more if the involved people are equally hardworking?
This is the kind of revenge drama I was looking for when I first heard about Korean revenge dramas. Most other revenge dramas end in “John Wick”-style fashion (lots of shooting and deaths) or the main character just kind of forgets his own motivation. Loved the seduction, manipulation, and the psychic terror. If you can recommend similar dramas, please reply 😊

Please tell me that when they find out that she is really the missing daughter she gets treated better by her…
At the end of episode 37 the father is certain that she is in fact the missing daughter. At episode 41 it gets confirmed with a DNA test by the father and the "real" -mother finds out with an old photo of her daughter with the “step"-mom and goes to confront her.
Evil character gets her way till the very end and doesn’t really get punished... At least not in a satisfying way. And other “half”-evil characters don’t really change or learn from their past mistakes and get forgiven way to fast and easy. I mean 56 episodes… Can we please get some character growth…? STAY AWAY from this drama if you can’t handle “evil” characters getting their way nonstop.
