From what I read you can do some sort of ROTC (in America that would be the equivalent) during your school years I believe for every year you do it, you get months shaved off your mandatory two years and then when you’re done you won’t have to get drafted because you already served your time. If you don’t do that, eventually, you will get drafted and serve two years. It doesn’t seem like the US military though. It seems at some point during the month you can go home and still act etc… I don’t know if that is a celebrity privilege. I am assuming Daou didn’t do the reserve training during his school years. It looks like he works PR for the Thai army. I could be incorrect though.
