Hey guys I recommended this drama to my mom, and then realise that it has a sad start and would like to know if…
I don't know if I'm late (I just finished this drama), but aside from the death of Ha Myeong Geun, the ending is kind of happy (Jang Tae Ha talking happily with his son while being in prison, the wedding of the mistress and the return of 2nd son).
Other people that died: Gong Ki Chan (fiancé of Woo Ah Mi), unborn baby and section leader Song Jae Moon.
For 35 episodes I didn't shed a tears (even if there were many sad scenes), but on the last episode... tears kept falling. T-T
Since the beginning I found the lead female rather frustrating and I think the finale/end was poorly written, but I'm happy with the final/ultimate couple! ^_^
Still I wished I could see more of them (both as couple and as family with the child)... T-T
PS. It's my first time watching a drama with Huang River and I think he's a really good actor, since the only times I felt really sad was when his character was sad ("those" scenes really made me tear up T-T)...
The only one that comes to my mind (that hasn't already been said) is Empress Ki: Ji Chang Wook will be 27 on July, Ha Ji Won will be 36 at the end of June. °-°
Since I like to "dramathon", I waited until now before to start watching it, but I didn't expect I'd have liked it so much (to the point that I watched all the already aired episodes -10- in one go)!
I can't wait to see the next episodes! *_*
PS. I wasn't sure about liking the drama because it's my first Asian drama about that period (around 1930), but since there's Kim Hyun Joong (main reason) and almost all of the cast is great (I don't know all of the actors/actresses), I decided to give it a try. :)

I'd say "Witch's Romance" and the J-Drama "Dear Sister"... °-°
Thanks for the article! ^^
If you remember, he made her promise to pass the exam before his return.
