Hmm, it says on wiki all the management companies for the trainees and it says wake one for him (plus GeonWoo was previously signed to them as well before appearing on the show and subsequently they mutually agreed to terminate the contract)

Back here after surviving Boys II Planet. This was nicer - don't get me wrong, it wasn't without it's problems but we got Zerobaseone, Evnne and One Pact out of it (plus there's no crummy group name like Aldi, and yes I know it's an abbreviation but Alpha Drive One isn't really much better)

Ahhh, I've been trying to process my emotions on this one as I'm really very conflicted but here goes...

1. Aldi is a terrible name for a group (I'm sorry but it is, and yes I know I've spelled it like the supermarket but you get my point)
2. I'm really happy for Jiahao and Anxin (plus I quite like Junseo as well). No disrespect to the others, just my own personal favourites.
3. I'm absolutely heartbroken that Kaiwen didn't debut (plus a few others who'd been eliminated in earlier episodes like Haneum, GyeHyeon & Yunseo) and so I'm very much hoping we get an Evnne 2.0 kind of situation going on
4. The return of Planet C... I really don't think I can cope with this all over again in just a matter of months, so I can only hope that none of my faves participate so I can pretend like it's not happening

I don't want to be *that person* but is CSH not managed by the same company who are going to be managing the group...? (No shade, I'm sure he's great - just an observation)

The 1st episode of the new season is airing today so you never know, you might get lucky :)

I usually wait a day later and watch on Viki. Alternatively, you can watch it live on the Mnet app :)

Just to say that the WeTV app now has episode 1 part 1 available to watch for free (and I'm guessing that part 2 will be available from tomorrow). I reckon they'll keep making the episodes available on their site for free a week after original broadcast - hope this helps :)

Yes to all of this!!! I do also feel that the mentors might save their favourites because otherwise 32 is a lot! I've watched all of episode 5 and literally felt so confused after it finished haha

Thanks for this :) That's what I was wondering as well but then that essentially makes the whole class grading a bit pointless? Is there any real need for the star rating at this point if it's just a popularity contest again...? This is why I'm confused...

I'm confused again... (and yes, I am sorry that the only time I seem to comment is when I don't understand something in this show but it's just sooo different from all the other idol survival shows I've seen!)
So, I thought the first elimination would be based purely on the public vote (plus any bonus the trainees receive from the live studio audience performance) but it was said in episode 5 that only the 24 All Stars and 24 Two Stars will be staying and that all 32 One Stars will be eliminated...
So my question is how does that work? Are they going to be assessed again and given another new grading (and if so, how is that going to be decided)? Or is it that those who are currently One Star are just automatically eliminated (in which case there is really no point in them having stayed to participate in this round of performances)?
I realise just how dim I sound and for that I am truly sorry but I'm just really confused! So if anyone could help me to understand I'd really very much appreciate it! Thanks :)

Right, so it's still essentially just a popularity contest for whoever has the most fans already going into the show, plus the mentor's critique (as well as it being a quick-fire way to cull many trainees in one go...?) Okay, thanks for the help! :)

Sometimes WeTV/Tencent will post variety shows for free on YouTube a week after original broadcast (for example HaHaHaHaHa) - so it may be worth waiting until next Sunday to see if they've uploaded there...? Hope this helps :)

Thank youuuuuuuuuuuu :) and I totally agree - firstly, the audience should have been informed beforehand that this was going to contribute to everyone's final class ranking and secondly, we haven't had enough time, footage or performances of trainees to make an informed judgement (literally just the signal song at that time). I think it's a real shame for those who dropped to a lower class as well as those who have just been eliminated...

Am I the only one confused as to how they decided on the final class ranking? I've been trying to work it out and I still just don't get it... They were reassessed by the mentors and then it's something about the 'likes' (I think) on their individual performance videos for the signal song that gave each of them their final class position - but how was that decided? Did each trainee have to get a minimum of 'likes' to stay? Was there a specific threshold of 'likes' for every class? I just don't get it... If anyone understands, please help - I'm seriously confused!

Oh absolutely - I've only just downloaded mine and it's had like 2 updates already?! And it kept only remembering the last vote I did (either K or C) and then nothing for the other - I ended up alternating between which one I'd do last and then checking my voting certificate from the day before aha but that 2nd update seems to have worked out the problem (fingers crossed)

I had that problem too but then I updated the mnet app and that seems to have solved it (touch wood) - hope this might work for you too...? :)
