ML is acting like a eunuch. There is not much in first eps,it really bland for pilot eps. Let's see few eps more if it gets interesting.

Poor ML women he is engaged to and married to both are psycho.Ml really has cheating fetish otherwise he should have long broken friendship with that creepy QI guy. I hope it won't be entire series he would be played by FL. About FL if not that original Wei Rao is so bad she is no different from a villain as her saying applied to her with competition even mud becomes likable. Especially whenever ML question her she starts taking her clothes off, this part o really don't like.
For FL defence her life is on line so I would give her some leeway, let's see how new eps go.

I don't know how I end up here, glad I did . A unique drama quite different but really enjoyed it.

A lot of screentime wasted on third couple where no one was interested in. That time should be given main leads they kind of reduced male lead charm in later episode but that's ok that made MC more strong but I would have liked to see ML back in his form and their life together for atleast one eps, cdrama crews are obsessed with last minute reunion ending. The good thing about this drama is we actually see FL hardwork and her intelligence unlike other dramas where just making FL wear fashionable clothes to show how intelligent or powerful she is. Moreover she is also 2st FL in a very long time in CDrama who apologize to ML when she madeistake .Even though there is not much skinship or kisses ,MC has good chemistry. Overall a nice watch albeit they should have increased the episodes.

When you put it that way , it looks that way. It is a female centric drama (almost all cdrama are these days) but still they should have shown something about ML after his death like a lot of time were there they just didn't show it deliberately may be

Damn ,it's cold that FL remembers everyone and of course her parents and family except ML at her last moment. This expectation is only because it's drama people are much colder in real life. As for ML I don't think he did anything wrong FL family was idealistic and not as clever as FL. ML protecting his family is not wrong also at that time he isn't one making decision.
But drugging her and marriage against her wish is definitely wrong.
One thing drama gets wrong at least in ancient time is that staying away from power can give you peaceful life ,any influencial family can easily crush a normal wealthy family. Even businessman has to do business through ministers or noble household. without influence there is no freedom. So ML fought will sweat and blood to get his family influencial otherwise any one can crush them. It's also because ML supporting and condoning the women of his house that they get to have such freedom,do what other women can't.
He was a great brother and best father and husband.
I loved his interaction with his daughter.
That doesn't mean anything wrong with FL as anyone who has seen what she has seen and experienced would have find it difficult to be even alive. FL was kind ,brave and wise.
It was good drama around 40 then it became average.
Overall one of best cdrama in recent times.

After a very long time I don't want a drama to end , love the great couple with cutest kid. Full entertainment. One of most underrated drama. Loved each and every episode.

Good first half then it got repetitive. There were not enough episodes for character development. They should have broken up in ep 19 to give proper time for reconciliation. If not for their chemistry it won't be that famous.

ML entirely work for their relationship quite one sided effort while FL was so passive, you don't feel that she really like ML, not even once she tried or worked to go to ML. It felt like for ML Fl is his world but for FL he is just one person in her life.

Fl is right in saying that if ML likes her then he is a masochist. Now a days almost all ML of cdrama are dormat and simp this drama ML is on another level. Fl doesn't even talk to him once nicely while He is doing everything for her really a good trained dog.

FL is money, everyone obsessed with her. 2nd couple were good.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is how you end a drama. One of the best finale episode. Loved how FL actually told her perspective to ML, usually audiences see FL perspective but ML never knows even when they get together. Extra points just for last episode.

Who takes 33-34 eps out of 36 to make ML FL together in a pure romance drama. I have heard of people getting exhausted for when couple will get together,this is the first time I experienced this, I was so exhausted that when they get together, I was like oh let's get done with this, let's end it faster. Even when they got together it remained same vibe when they were not together like nothing changed. I thought after all that Wait they would atleast show them married,but that didn't happen either. What a fall for ML 180 degree turn, from a confident, charismatic character to insecure person same as FL was at the beginning. Best character growth went to FL. Though I still don't understand FL career growth,just making FL with stylist cloth to show FL carrer growth. Oh annoying 3rd couple parents so irritating. I really liked initial episodes but now I really regret watching this,what a waste of time.

It's ok ,it happens when you are too invested in a drama. It's not about subtle or not ,slight romance,it has to do with not feeling chemistry except that lap scene that was quite good ,I didn't feel much chemistry. There are dramas where a single glance could make you feel chemistry. It's definitely one of best work of Bailu except the romance part. Also at the end of the day Chemistry is subjective varies person to person.

Yes I was unable to put it into words, what I meant is the way he always tried holding Fl hand or tried touching her in a creepy way. Fl could removed him after all it's her shop ,she could also have asked ML help.

Yes there are many dramas with slight romance,but many of those dramas would make you want if only it has more romance scenes. Here FL revenge is the soul of story that's the reason I am still watching it as it is executed preety well,but romance scenes they have is quite bland Even though they shine individually at least that's what I felt . We still have 14 eps to go let's see.

Yep same here, i don't know who gave the idea of 24 eps. Also ML character shows inferior in comparison to 2nd MLs.

Drama started out well ,now it's just seems a lot of things happening but at the same time nothing is happening. Romance is just so lackluster, probably Bai lu worst drama where she doesn't have chemistry with her co star, Only for Love another one. ML is just there to show how powerful FL is. Han min xi character looks creepy.Overall a great potential drama is turning into an avg drama unless they pull something different, especially after ep 26. Let's hope it gets better.

Both ML and FL were amazing. FL has unique beauty in cdrama industry would like her a FL in lengthy drama probably a romance drama and ML too. Unfortunately no 2026 work for her
