How i would literally do anything to watch this drama for the first time again. I have so many favourite dramas, but L&P holds a special place in my heart. I’ve already watched it thrice, but i still can’t move on. Though, li Xun, most part of the drama is a red flag, some people might not understand his character—which is fair, because i too hated him at times for saying some things to zhu yun he shouldn’t have said, but but their love story is one of a kind, too good to be missed. Li Xun is the only red flag i’d always defend as if my life depends on it.

I’m not into xianxia , but watched it only for zhou ye and neo huo and i must say i do not regret one bit. It was soo good. The story was cohesively written for a fantasy drama.

Ikr!! I was like am i watching a costume drama where they drink to apologise. I also like this drama because of the vibe, but the casting director needs to be blame the most for this disaster. Thankfully the 18th episode was a lot better than the previous ones. I just hope the rest of the drama is a smooth watch.

I feel like there’s so much inconsistency in her character. One time she’s mad at him, and the next thing she’s smiling and flirting with him without any proper confrontation and communication.

I know that, that’s why I said they should’ve casted someone else who wouldn’t mind kissing scenes. I blame the casting director, out of hundreds of actress he could’ve picked, he picked the one who doesn’t do kissing scenes. And she should also avoid taking on roles that obviously require her to kiss. I can’t imagine how awkward it would be wang anyu to shoot scenes like that.

The lack of physical touch and intimate scenes is driving me nuts. For a drama named “be passionately in love”, they sure show no passion. I love LHC, but I wish they had selected someone else for this drama, WAY deserves better. Zhu yanqi is my favourite. I hope we’ll get to see more of him in the future🙏🏻
