Human being are complex.....and it seems the majority of ppl don't comprehend or have an open mind to see it from different perspective.

I had a friend like that, she stayed in a relationship that is lacking (crappy bf, not loving ect)....i told her other kinds exist.....she told me she never known or seen it in real life....therefore she not sure she believes it exist....she only believes what she had know growing up....she don't think she deserves or know any other different type of relationship or love
