ML has contributed well with his inquisitive mind...by questioning things.

She disregard pretty much everything he said...w/o fully investigating. ML has proven he is there to work and want to help solve cases. He is very observant and take people's word's into account.

I.e. the case of the dead old people. They disregard the granddaughter new info...while ML think...yes...it's plausible, let's investigate

Did you miss the part where she was proven wrong and was still a jerk to him.

She continued with her biases. She needs to be humbled....while ML holds no grudge or is bias against them even though they are jerks to him
