I disagree. The lead had plenty of scenes to see why they developed feelings for each other. It is deeper and more complex than just spending time together.
FL get to see the ML at his most vulnerable. ML is at his rawness with her. What he going through. FL is falling for his more "human" side she gets to see. He in turn is falling for her ways to make him laugh, smile and understands him. It is at a deeper level.
ML is experiencing trauma, similar to her experiencing her trauma (attempt murder escapee). She relates to him. It is not expanded much but that is in thr back of her mind. In her dreams.
SML interactions is more generic. He likes her because she was his would be wife. Whom he saw for 5 minutes. Love at 1st sight he held on to.
Started as a quirky comedy, now it is a full blown serious palace drama, kinda a 180 turn?..
I disagree it is 180. There is still come comedy...but yes...it is less...the plot was gradually building to be serious.

This is a romantic Dramedy. Yes it started out with lots of laughter....but there was always the understone of seriousness from the plot. Evil minister, FL running away from the killer, death/suicide....ect....it was always there integrated....we just sae more of it in ep 6....as it should be.

What annoys me is...his job is to protect the king....they are also friends and love rival...but not really love rival since FL is clear to me.
He just is going to abandon the King and his job?? ! WtF. The king barely has anyone. There is a plot to over throw the king and he is too suck up in his feels.

I'm still enjoying it....the under tone of the serious plot was always there.
Nothing really changed but expanded. Ep 6 was a little more serious....
FL is still witty and funny.

I like the trio...not in a love triangle.

I love how the FL is honest about her feelings to the SML. I hope they stay consistent.
I hate these type of love triangle where ppl force other's feelings
