There's no problem in liking him. Anybody could like whatever character they want. I don't think he's currently a good character with him having malice intent and doing dirty tricks to other people

I didn't really enjoy the book because there was no growth and development in the characters. And it was kind of abrupt of how it ended

Both main characters are poor. Both have crappy parents. Female lead is older than male lead.

Both lack good communication skills and they have an ambiguous relationship. They broke up a few times.

ML is a student and an actor. One of the issue is the lack of communication and assumption they both just have. Male lead also shuts down how about his issue and that pushes female lead away.

One of the lines that I feel applies more to the novel than the drama is, is this just a script? Which is the blur line between the VR and reality. The drama depicts there relationship between the two worlds better than the novel. The novel can make it seem more ambiguous. The female lead was kind of obsessed? Fangirl of the ml. Which can be confusing because he doesn't know if she likes him for him or just his character in the game. But in the drama you can see that she likes him for him

Female leads friend is a mess. Her relationship with her husband is toxic and she is just chasing Fame as an influencer . She dates a bunch of guys. She's not serious about anybody. She's actually in love with the guy who runs the cafe but again these characters lack good communication.

I got to hand it to the drama script writer. They made a great major update for the better in this drama.
