They sit comfortably next to each other and silently support each other and that gave comfort
Mj telling her brother not to help clean the bottle..unless....the person ask.
Mr.Gu clean it on his own...because of his relationship with her....she don't expect him to change
These changes are coming organically through their interactions with each other.
Recent scene, he didn't buy alcohol. He got them treats. Being together with nothing forced or expected from them...brings the joy and change
Ch previous relationship didn't work because their is that expectation and need from him. She expected him to have a car, house, better position at work.
Mr.Gu and MJ....don't have those demands on each other. They are honest. She told him that when shefeels full, shes done. He understood.
Another scene is when she told him not to help her, she didn't ask. She didn't expect him to be her night and shining knight. He respected that and listened. Slowly her courage is building through the interactions.
