Those people know that he has that Clause can also not hire him for it. There's plenty of drama that I watched that has no kissing scene and tension and simple interaction is better than any kissing scene.

Yes he helped her many times but for a cost benefit. He wasn't doing it just to be nice. He's doing it because he wants reward and gratitude for it. Like a business transaction.
Also it's his choice to do it and nobody forced him to do that. Like his female leads choice to choose to help others. The difference is she didn't want anything in return when she helped others. I was neutral towards him
