LuYi is my favorite character of all time of his. He plays him so well. I guess I love the characteristics quiet, clever, perceptive , articulate, strong leading and so many more in guy. LuYi is every girl fantasy male lover in my view.

I saw the interview of Ren Jialun about his character Chang Yi. He was funny and adds the facial and eyes expressions. He said Chang Yi falls for Yunhe on the first sight. The jealousy questions were funny and how Ren Jialun was trying to play it off like as Chang Yi is not the King of Jealousy. He kept avoiding eyes contact , blinking his eyes and small grin on his face and stated Chang Yi doesn’t see other male as competitor. Chang Yi ‘s definition of jealous different from others. But he ultimately answer Chang Yi is very possessive ( very jealous) of Yunhe, love Yunhe so much and he wants to keep her close to him.

At first I didn’t like the drama because not much chemistry between the lead couple but this story grow on me. I love how they don’t try to focus on the romantic scene too much but more on the storyline and a lot fighting scenes. I know a lot of people think it boring but I enjoy it a lot. Male lead seems to have two characters in him, split personality issue. When he uses his birth name Nalan Yue , he’s so dark , cunning , manipulative and serious like his character in Under the Power. When he uses his other name Lin Jing he’s so childish, playful, smart but carefree. But in whatever name he uses he have one weakness and that his wife . The female lead she’s not good in fighting but she is not weakling either. She’s as clever and smart as the male lead. I felt bad for the second couple at first they have so much screen time but toward the end not much. Now the evil people, I think Mo Huan is like the male lead she also have split personality too, exact the same way. Female lead father he’s second most evil after Mo Huan, he seems to be one who consistently the same through the show. Ren Jialun here, he’s so handsome and powerful looking . Just give it a try.

In the book Zhousheng Chen is opposite from the One and Only. In the historical part he was super handsome and even his bones were beautiful. And Shi Yi was average in the part. In the book he was supposed to be pretty average, awkward and tall. But a lot of people complaining he doesn’t fit the role because he was too handsome. But he proof them wrong with his acting .

I saw i think still a rumor the actress link to this one is Song Zu Er. They said Fans want Tan Song Yun but she have a busy schedule for 2022.

Forever and Ever was about the next life of Zhousheng Chen and Shiyi. I heard a lot of people were not happy because Ren Jialun was too handsome for this role. In the book ZhouSheng was an average looking man.

His best look for me Under the Power Lu Yi and Love a lifetime Lin Jing.

I totally agreed with you. I think their characters compliment each other. If Lu Yi didn’t meet Jinxia he wouldn’t know how outside people view him. She’s only one who dare to tell him he sucks as the people person, short tempered and arrogant. If he keeps it up he will have no friends or girlfriends. And he’s smart enough to realize her words use to his advantage. I tried to figure when he starts to fall for her I think when he saw her play the harp. After that he seems to be less annoy with her and start to tolerate her more lol. He’s even fix her handgun too. He starts to save her and start to get angry at the person who try to harm his Jinxia. I can re watch this one over and over again because of the lead couple. I want more adventures of Lu Yi and Jinxia. When they are together the crowd just lost to these two because of the amazing chemistry.

I know I am crazy but I kind want his character to be like Lu Yi, cold ruthless and full of charm too. But this character was pessimistic and lack of air of the authority like in Under the power.

I saw few of the pic from the filming. Allen looks good prep school boy uniform. He doesn’t look his age he looks like a high school kid. Why are there so much debate with this couple? Like Ren Jialun’s fans are not happy with her Yang Ying and saying she is not skilled enough. Her agency the one who pick Ren Jialun because of his popularity and she will benefits from it.

Episode 19 and he didn’t tell her. I only watch for Ren Jia Lun he was so cute and adorable. Like he preps to die again for the rest of the episodes till the end.

This show starts out good but it dragged on and the ending was crappy. I see a lot of brands advertisement on the show and it was annoying. The clothing style doesn’t go with the show. The female character, her style of dressing were so ugly and I don’t understand why she dresses like that though out the show. Even to the black tie event she was in her jeans. Only thing safe styling its the way they dress the two male leads. Ren looks really good in the clothes. They have to many side stories going on and didn’t do a good to elaborate it. Like example her parents died from vehicular homicide but waited almost to the end of the show to introduce it. The show introduce too many guys for the female lead who doesn’t even look cute because of the styling of her clothes. You have three sophisticated guys chasing a girl that look like she doesn’t know to dress. I have a lot to say but I’ll leave there I think a lot of people properly understand me.

I wish Viki have a right to the drama because they sub fast

Any drama you’ll always going to have a complainers and the lovers. I prefer not to judge and just watch.

After watching this interview in One and Only about how he would pick love over career because true love is rarest to come by. At first, I thought he was from a rich family but after reading many articles about him I guess he is an old fashioned guy. I want to say his story inspired me. Very inspiring and good husband a girl would be looking for.

I just finished this part and part 2. I like both part but part 1 is my favorite of all time. I never seen any love story so moving with no scenes of intimate actions but more on eyes actions. These series make me became a true fan of Ren Jia Lun and Bai Lu. Ren Jia Lun is a top notch actor no slip out the characters. Just from watching his facial expressions and eyes ,Ren was able to show how many emotional conflicts with so little effort. He made the viewer cry with him and felt pain when he was unfairly executed. That’s why I want Zhousheng Chen, the Imperial Duke to have more happiness than Zhousheng Chen the modern one. Not that he is not in part 2 he was really great there and no traits from the first part. Top acting. I’ll rewatch for him.

Honestly, I don’t think the FL is bisexual. She’s a detective and she is playing the part. I do agreed with you about Xie Xiao, he is really annoying and also the FL was an easy going so she doesn’t take it to her heart. Only when he becomes a trouble in her relationship with Lu Yi than she pushed him back. I love the chemistry between the ML and FL and as the story get going you will see that female lead treating him like her husband. She’s very protective of him. Even though he is strong she still take care of him.
