be against the match. Even if Xie Wei is not in the picture. if I have to choose between Zhang Zhe and Yan Lin, I would say Yan Lin suits her more because Yan Lin is young and immature but when he’s mature he has more layers to him than Zhang Zhe. He may not reach Xie Wei level because he is not as complex as Xie Wei

Poor Yan Lin but I like him this life. he is very acceptable of his fate with Ning’er but I think he would be more happier if the person she marries would be his cousin.

The Yan probably also related to the royal family too. what I see if you don’t have connection to someone higher, you can’t enjoy the luxury life like the Yan. I personally think he is not the guy for her. i think Xie Wei is probably the one she needs to come back to save not Zhang Zhe. He is too straight and for this reason people can take advantage of him very easily. I can’t seem to figure who does Ning’er like. she seems obedient with Xie Wei but maybe he’s her teacher or she is afraid of him because he did threaten her that he will kill her if she spill any of his secrets.
