if you don't understand "you don't have to forgive us, just forgive yourself" I will explain it to you. The mom basically means it's ok if you don't want to forgive us, you don't have to(because it was a terrible thing to do), but forgive yourself means accept yourself as you are and don't blame yourself for liking men. (cuz the mom could sense that he was not so confident with his sexuality and he feels that he influenced Youngjie into liking men (he said that in a previous ep)).
