Oh man, this looks like it’s going to be heavy. I know so many parents whose children were victims of school bullying and assault are going to relate to the protagonist what with the many times their judges let those assailants off the hook without making much or any reparation to the victims. I’m gonna tune in for Hye Soo. The plot kind of reminds of the Japanese drama Samayou Yaiba.

The cute promotional vids of Sato Kanta and Ohara Yuno on their Twitter account made me cave in 😭 I’m gonna watch this drama even though the synopsis gagged me a bit

Right? I never thought i’d be bawling my eyes out. I’m happy for Rio and the people around her but what about Kase? 😭 also the fact that they didn’t explicitly mention what happened to him after he confessed for his crimes really got me feeling some ways

- Jimi ni Sugoi! (More of a job-related show but it’s fun, cute and has some romance in it. Available on Viki)
- Long Vacation
- Tokyo Tarareba Musume (there’s a special episode [or as they like to call it:SP] that kind of brought an ending to it but idk, some weren’t satisfied)
- Kikazaru koi (second lead guy>>>>>>)

Comedy:
- Gomenne Seishun (This is theee comedic gold that I never thought I needed! I’ve revisited it many times. Also better off downloading it, streaming sites are gonna have u closing ur laptop because of the terrible quality)
- Omameda Towako (so darn hilarious)
- Your house is my business/ Ie Uru Onna (has two seasons but the first one had me rolling on the floor. Available on Viki)
- Legal High (a classic, has two seasons but the first one is untouchable)
- Jikou Keisatsu (eccentric-filled plot and characters but super hilarious imo, has three seasons)
- Ossan’s Love (this is crazy, like I’d understand if you drop it halfway 😂)

Thank you for understanding. Reading my response again, it seems like i came off a bit rude, my apologies for that. I guess people have their on viewpoint on this matter, so I’ll have to stop being sensitive in here and just let people enjoy this show however they want to

The way i groaned when they didn’t finish it off on the 10th episode 😂 Honestly this show had potential but the director was too ambitious. It felt like he wasted the actors time and energy trying to build some momentum with the plot, but with the ridiculous amounts of time skips, everything felt lost! Enjoyed the cast’s chemistry and the subtle comedy but oh well, it could’ve done better

Who else cried when they revealed the reason why Kase did all those things to protect Rio and her family??

Might be just me but really, nothing prepared for anything that happened in this drama. I really enjoyed it. I was on edge till the very end! I had a hunch about the murderer but I still gasped when they revealed them. Yoshitaka Yuriko’s performance here was superb, probably her best one yet! Also Hikaru Utada’s song is addictive !

I’m all for the entertaining relationship between Towako and her ex husbands, the cast, plot, script and directing was excellent, but I’m upset that I’m still left with questions unanswered till the very end.

Let’s retire this “nobody forced you to watch” kind of response because i sure as hell wasn’t. And I’m talking about it generally, doesn’t matter if they got together after he’d graduated from HS it’s STILL creepy to me for a grown person to be catching feelings for a teen.

There is some romanticizing of an adult feeling things for a teen going on in this drama, don’t try to play with me 🙄

That part when Komikado said to Miki and his crew "It seems like we're the only law firms in this country" 🤣

Love how they addressed the rampaging cases of student bullying in this SP, though in the end it turn out to be completely unrelated lol

This show is fantastic! I don't know why it took me so long to watch this, but I can say that I'm surprised with the quality of it! Even though this drama was released 9 years ago, not a single recent drama can come close to this level of great comedic acting, directing and plot. Nothing prepared me for the ending of the last episode, I laughed my a** out! Would definitely recommend this! (although there are some occasional sexual innuendos that could make some uncomfortable so be warned)

I forgot to scream about how much I love Yoshioka Riho in this show 💕🥰

Imagine watching a romcom where every episode is enjoyable, that’s how much of rare gem this drama is. Even with the cliché-ness of the romantic development, the chemistry between the actors made it exciting! I’m truly gonna miss this drama :’)
