Quest 5 and finals were crazy challenges, kudos to PD for that. I personally don't think Japan's bridge was rigged, they just were too small/light. Mongolia figured it out by adding "7th person" - the battering ram. JPN and Mongolia also unloaded cart at the beginning forcing them to carry everything up the hill which added time.
AUS surely would've won it all without their strategy mistake.

The fact that the sister in law was a cop. her character was the most disappointing for me.
I'm only thru EP5, but it is clear to me she knows he is abusive and has psychopathic tendencies so she can't/won't do anything since he is family. But I agree her character is minor.
Also did not find CSB to be particularly good in this.
