This is 100% a work of art. I binged it and now feel emotionally exhausted. Such excellent dialogue and cinematography and some out of this world acting by Pond. It must have been draining for the actors to make as it was so wordy and emotional all the way through. I didn’t realise that there were still prejudiced parents when their queer child comes out. They should be happy to have the privilege of their child sharing their true selves with them (and I’m saying that as a person old enough to be Wangs Mum)!

I think Tyme made Great self conscious because he didn’t lick his ass or suck him so he took a quick shower. But I’m 99% sure it was just that Tyme had never been with a guy before. You could tell when he was being loving during it and not just banging him.
I am enthralled by this series. I’ve never seen a series made this way before and it is lovely. I’m just happy that Tutor and Yim have an interesting series to play in. For me Tutor and Yim are DmD’s shining stars ✨. I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds and little Gems is doing a really good job too 🖤

I know the show needs to be a certain way to get the dreamy, old timey production, but the ep was a bit slow moving this week. I hope the rest of the series isn’t like it too.🖤
The age of consent here in the UK is 16, and the age of consent is 15 in Thailand. I have no problem with the age gap of 10 years as they are actors and it’s all PRETEND!! Mac has a very extensive back catalogue of shows and I’m sure he would not have auditioned for a role he didn’t feel comfortable with. Too many people expect these show to have western ideals and values where that just isn’t the case. PS The age gap is only a little bit bigger than Gulf and Mew!🖤
Am I the only person who finds the scene between Bas and Fuaiz a tad problematic to watch with the icky age difference?? I think because of his handsome looks Fuaiz has taken on very mature roles. If you think of his shower scene with JJay in DFF, he must have been 16, 17 at the very most when that shot. Why were BoC so protective of Barcode in KinnPorsche (he never even kissed Jeff) but Fuaiz is getting up to all sorts. I know my opinion is probably coz I’m an old lady but…..
100% my new favourite series!! It was a very modern, ‘western’ type story. Only the finale was a bit stereotypical BL drama. It very much was a story of love, family and corruption and I love that it wasn’t written for the BL audience, the leads could’ve been gay, straight, lesbians etc… definitely worth a watch 🖤
Just rewatched last week’s ep and it occurred to me, why don’t bl dramas have sponsorships from condom and lube companies instead of skincare and vitamin brands? Maybe it’s because bl is aimed at women but we buy these thing too!! It’s just a random train of thought 😂 p.s. We’ve seen 3 nc scenes and Ming doesn’t cum in any of them. He never really looks like he’s enjoying it tbh. Do we thinks that’s Up’s own acting choice or the director’s choice? I think waaaaay too much about series that I like 🖤
