I'm having second thoughts of watching Dune series, because majority reviews says its boring...
If you like the books, you'll love the series. It's good to know the history from a books. Herbert is such a descriptive writer and explores complex themes, such as the survival of the human species, evolution, space science, ecology, and the intersection of religion+ politics + economics and family ties. It's happening all in the series. It's beautiful to look at with stunning visuals and set pieces. With such a short season is Π° disappointing. The atmosphere is gloomy and cold. A slow pace.and morally gray characters. I donβt want to say much more cause it feels like everything could be a clue or spoiler.
