i think it's impossible for the show to only have chinese songs as they're promoting a global/international concept. for sure they'll perform songs from different languages. in just ep 1 we have korean, chinese, english

watched a clip and it feels like the editors from the chuang are back instead of chuang asia's?

because of voting system. 1 milk is equal to a vote iirc. i think there was a video where fans bought excessive amount of milk only to pour it on drainage

thai and chinese. language is not the problem but the format, editing, and the vibes is not the same as the previous chuang in china

but in action scene it's pretty good so they probably focused on those scenes

the only thing that distracts me is the continuity of each scene. whenever there's a change of angle, it's obvious that there are differences in action, expression, and some placements. it's like they used one camera to shoot.

fang kaiyi's story reminded me of kdrama mouse. thus it made me expect more climactic episodes involving him but as the story progressed, it felt a bit boring. the script writing this time is not as amazing as s1 esp towards the end where it felt like they were just reciting the script(not the actors' fault they did great).
in s1, shen yi's intelligence will leave you in awe. when he meets kaiyi, their interactions hurt my brain making it hard for me to sympathize or understand kaiyi.

the child actor of 2nd case(ep3-4) did a great job. i was bawling my eyes out when he was painting his dad's face. the director did well in making it very realistic.
