honestly, u really need a heart of steel for every c-drama, esp if you closely follow the actors and join their fandom(if it's a massive one). toxic solo stans and paid haters are total nightmares.

to chi cheng, no other person is as important as his snakes. and that boy basically sold cc snakes to his father. not excusing what he did, just giving a context.

don't continue watching it if it makes you uncomfortable. just because other people loved it doesn't mean you also have to.

overall, it's really a good watch. but binge watching is different from watching real-time time so it might not be as enjoyable for you, and you may notice a lot of negative aspects. at least you can speed run stressful eps without waiting when will they reconcile :)

this is only personal: second half was ok for me. still enjoyable. but not as funny & silly as the 1st half cuz it gets pretty serious by ep 14. you'll see how their relationship and character grows after the mess.

and challenging ridiculous restrictions may actually lead to change. also, if the actors and the production is bold enough to go against the current, why must they stop creating BL? i'm sure they've thought of worse possibilities given that there have been few dangai that have been caught up in controversies before.

though i agree that it's indeed been a hella exhausting ride. i just hope that the actors are safe and happy.
ps. ziyu recently said he's been happy because he now has work. (it's kinda no pain no gain)
