I am excited but a little scared. Hana Yori Dango was my first drama and I love the Japanese version and am not ready for it to be dethroned (Like the Thai version of Mischievous Kiss dethroned the Japanese version for me.) I wonder who they will cast??? I know they are making a Thai version of the Chinese 'Boss and Me' with Push and Aom and I am not ready for that either o_O
Hong Se Na from Rooftop Prince was one of the characters I wanted to slap. Every time I talked about her to my roommates I started the conversation with 'so this b*&%$...' Also every single Thai series or lakorn I have ever watched has atleast one if not multiple of those characters.
This is the first Thai drama I've watched and nothing about it was really wow or new, but I really thoroughly…
I really enjoyed 'Wake Up Ladies the Series' it was zippy and fun. I don't know if you watched the Korean/Japanese/or Chinese version of 'Mischievous Kiss,' but the Thai version 'Kiss Me' was also very good. The 'Ugly Duckling Series' is pretty popular as well (there are four different drama within the series.) Thai shows can be pretty hit or miss for people but usually the series aren't too crazy.
No one is about to agree with me but in Karn La Krang Neung…Nai Hua Jai I liked Chen Ming better. I understood why she ended up with Daniel but his wishy washy attitude and his couple moments of stupid lashing out made me a little salty.
Also Baek In Ho from Cheese in the Trap was a classic. This honestly made me love Seo Kang Joon as an actor. This is the only drama I was begging for them to change the ending couple like they did with the Taiwanese drama Substitute Princess.
I think the Thai version of Mischievous Kiss , Kiss Me, was my favorite. They toned down the stalking a bit and added their own flavor to it. Plus Aom and Mike are so cute in it honestly.
This drama was good fun in between all the heavy melodramas. Badz and Smile carried the show for me but I didn't hate Kyro and Liz as much as other people. Although a little predictable, the cute moments with Badz and Smile made it worth it honestly.
