I've just started, am on ep2. I can't understand and accept a storyline based on "you did me wrong when you were 4y old". It's such a stupidity..... i know, cultural differences. That deep kind of jealousy is good for therapy only, it's not valid to direct it to 1 person, just cause she's better on than her.
Of not for the"older version" of FL as well as Lee Jung Eun's acting, the role would be bland and with no real meaning in life. LJE is carrying the drama, imho. The "compulsory" break up in the ep15 was unnecessary, just bad writing.
Everybody needs from a K drama sth else. Personally, i liked this one, one of the better of this year's production. There are a few dramas with higher scoring being horendous IMHO. The thing which disturbed me throughout the series was the FL's acting. She was stiff, had one expression on nearly all situations and was not able to act genuine affection in any scene. Her "husband" made a good acting job on the last episodes.
I usually don't watch Thai dramas. I put this one on my watchlist cause the synopsis was appealing. Though, as others, i binge watch the series fastened 1,5 , there were very good scenes, well written, played and staged. Nevertheless as well aa bunch of "filler" not necessary to the plot. The plot is quite good and the acting is decent. I agree, it would make a better impression as a film or 4 ep would be enough. In general, i consider it a good watch.
The young actors did a good job, but as always, the script had flaws. They start a good arch of story but in the middle they don't know what to do and they abruptly finish it in one ep. with few logic. And it's just 7 episodes!! The scriptwriters did really not a favour to this project.
Carbon copy of Love is for suckers. The writer was under a rock? Boring, tropy, if I saw at 33-35 my love when I've been 17, there's not much feeling left, time doesn't stop. The reading is too high for this firged copy drama IMHO
Siwon was the ML in Love is for Suckers. But GKP's role is really *exactly similar* to his role in Love in Contract.
You are surely right. I didn't pay much attention cause was not interested in this drama. TBH, Love in contract was not the masterpiece of PMJ, but GKP did there a good job. I'm convinced sb sabotages him with totally off scripts. Pity, he has the ability and the look. There's a bunch of younger actors with 10% of his talent leading good, popular drama and heading to fame. Nevertheless, he's an adult and he only is responsible for his choices.
Does GKP or his agent look for script? Cause 6ep in, it is quite a carbon copy of one of GKP's last dramas - participating in dating show while knowing the producer. I'm sorry for him, he deserves much better than this
It's a perfect anthology of the today's society. A bit to much brute violence like kicking in head and with baseball pol.... nevertheless an unexpected mix of Kubricks Futurism and Bergann' Film noire. A unique Korean piece, i must really appreciate the script.
I'm disappointed. No clear plot, the catastrophe has nothing to do with money heist and people trafficking - quite usual Korean stuff in dramas. The main CP has no chemistry - maybe voluntary, as she's not willing to go
I really appreciate the theme of mental health issues and the biased society against both of the leads. But.... except of a huge amount of drinking , the script lacked a kind of smooth flow and a real healing path apart of bottles of soju. As for the main CP, it's a question of personal preference of actors. Personally, the drama didn't met my expectations and taste.
The two MLs, good and consistent acting. The FL - just a victim from ep 1 to ep 12 , which made the whole drama unappealing by every episode. She had no chemistry neither with herself.
Raw truth, brutal to live through, nevertheless, one of most human stories. Very hard to watch. Cause we tend to close eyes. In front of all these human stories, covered by Bureaucracy and our everyday lives. Very hard to digest. . Great acting
