Bingewatched it yesterday, thoughts settled. First: very very bad writing, nothing given to want season/ part 2, cause any of the being or myth purpose is revealed in order to understand why one should watch Second: the FL is annoying all through the 6ep, the actress has one expression, moreover, her acting was constantly non existent, she was just showing cloths and playing with hair. Third: male cast is the only reason to watch it through , but with this bad scripts... they work goes in vain
It ended with a cliffhanger, but as we don't now anything about the nature of the whole myth, why is it happening now, how long are Van and granny living..etc, the scriptwriter deserves no payment for this one.
At ep4. The FL is so annoying I'm ready to drop, part of it is very bad writing, but her no so good acting as well. The myth behind had potential, but lost it.
Wanted to drop after first cca 6ep cause was boring and most characters not interesting at all. After a while, binged the rest in 1 day, the archs perfect, conplex stories not only 1 lead. Didn't like the too many dead cops in the later part, felt like being a policeman is suicidal, what didn't suite the rest of stories.
The story is ok, even though 16ep is too much and too many fillers. The FL, as usual, a vulgar unsympathetic character , specially her way to speak was very annoying
SJK's acting is terrific in this one, he is really the whole package. The pacing is a little slow, 16 ep would be more than enough, the corporate power battle and the ex- girlfriend's sh*ts are unnecessarily repetitive.
Even though the FL is not really sympathetic to me and as CP it's weird, even when rewatching the drama after a while, it's one of the best pieces as for script, story archs, cinematography and OST.
I really love SJK's acting .. this drama though, the main theme of endless capital war, is not interesting. I'm finish it just cause SJK It's written quite good, the charters have their archs each, good script
Just finished it, my honest opinion :Episode 1-3 were excellent, it felt unique and special. So much potential…
l share the opinion. The beginning was good and promising. Than the chase... too much repetitive plot. After the new Crown Prince was established.... it lost from purpose, even though we'll played and lot into production, who kills who round and round every 20min was not of further interest - my personal opinion.
I love her earlier dramas, pre 2020. She's beautiful, but expression less in the last ones and stuck to play the same character type, even that not as good as before Hope to see je shine again with a perfect chemistry partner 💕
I'm rewatching the drama and must constat, as for my personal opinion, this drama, even though slow paced at moments, it's a much better script and character arch than the 2020's PMY's dramas. I love JCW in this one, the main CP hand touches and kisses are not only romantic, but well written and played as well.
The FL a complete ****, the ML tried to be sympathetic turned pathetic. Through out no real story archs or any story to tell, no good romance... pure bore from beginning till end. There are much better dramas out there,
It seemed like feudalism even though they don't have a king, but conglomerate owners. Too many repetition of trying and being let down cause nepotism and money.... they could have spared 2-4episodes. After the ML stopped to have hysteric seizures, it was a good crime thriller, good pacing and characters
Interesting topic, sensitively worked to the story. Slow paced and need to be in mood to finish the film, it's rather artistic than explicit. Well done!!
