Seriously though. Miles Wei did a really great job playing a despicable character. I'm used to watching him play the hero in romances so this was a dramatic change from the usual characters he played.
I'm 3 episodes away from completing Flourished Peony. I liked it! I also read the spoilers for In the Name of the Blossom and read all the comments. I'm dreading starting it to be honest. I wish there was a speed button on VIKI so I can fast forward through all the angst, misunderstandings, and miscommunication. I hate this type of trope. I like my romance straightforward without all the drama!
I admit that I wasn't sure I was going to like this at first because of Ao Rui Peng's voice dubbing. But it's really growing on me. I've grown to really enjoy it. The romance, along with the excitement of solving cases, is spot on!
I love the combination of mystery and romance! I really like the straightforward romance with no misunderstandings. I also really love Ao Rui Peng's puppy dog eyes!
The next few episodes are going to be craazy! The previews are exciting! I am hoping they release all the episodes soon. One episode a day is not cutting it.
