No. The Mad King (real one) will unfortunately not survive, and the Clown King (fake one) will be on the throne for a quite a while, but ultimately he will not be King forever, although he will live till the end. But it's a good ending, the events will unfold in such a manner that you'll realise that this is the most fitting end for both the Kings.

It's fairly good paced, not too fast not too slow, perfect for the plot and the story to be uncovered fully. And definitely has more serious drama in it, hardly any comedy tbh. It was very enjoyable though.

The cast, the ACTING, the EMOTIONS portrayed by everyone but specially Yeo Jin Goo, are just incomparable. Regardless of whether or not you watch the movie, I would highly recommend watching this show, you won't regret it.

I honestly can't get into any other shows, other than Japanese and Korean, so I'll pass, thanks. And for a fan like me, this version will be the end-all-be-all story, a fresh tale that I'll hear for the first time and that's how I'll judge it! How is that wrong, exactly? Even if I watch the original somehow, is there a guarantee that I'll fall in love with it and hate this version forever? NO So I genuinely think it's pointless to bawl over a simple remake!
